Well, it's not like they charged you for it, so it's good.

I would try to pre-order the CTS-20CP version though, as I believe that is Carpenter's equivalent of S90V. You won't get the carbon fiber handles, but I think G10(especially Spyderco's) is still pretty damn good.

I would have happily paid the charge since I wanted the knife. I pre-ordered the gray handled one at the same time as well, and when I emailed them back on this email asking them if they could assure me that I would receive that one they said... they could not.
 
I received the same mail the day another shop shipped my para. But there i paid a premium... better than getting no para2 cf at all. Pre-order is no guarantee.

That compression-lock is kinda tough, though. Now the tip of my index finger is like numb.
