My INFI is sharp

When I got my knives for the first time the sharpness was nothing to brag about, but it wasn't really dull either, both the BATAC and the fat GW were able to cleanly cut off corners of yellow pages phone book (that later left to my neighborhood shortage of new phone books). So to say the least sharpness was decent, especilay considering the purpose of both knives.

Now when I got my BATAC back from Jerry, it came with the S.S.S.S. "Swine Shaving Sharpness Sheet." And immediately was tested by my business partner who proceeded to cut himself, while trying to see if the blade was sharp (Because I didn't show him the SSSS). And before anybody accuses me of negligence and blatant disregard for safety while handling what is essentially a deadly weapon, I have to say there is no need to worry, my partner was being a real douche and therefore deserved it.

The great majority of mine have been fine, but i agree with philwar & some others, for these prices, the QC should be as close to %100 as possible. High prices, plus extremely high quality the great majority of the time, naturally creates extremely high expectations.

Got quite a few really dull knives through time, but I've gotten to prefer dull on those knives I work sheaths with often. Easier on the tools and my fingers. :p

Both of my BWM's would cleanly slice newspaper right out of the box.

That's excellent for a factory edge. :D
