I recently purchased a Sanrenmu 710, and I was so Impressed with the quality that I went to Exduct and purchased a whole selection of 18 knives from the Sanrenmu, Enlan, Navy, Bee and Ganza Lines. I'm really excited to check all these knives out. I know lots of you are going to say for $200 you could have bout 2 benchmades, or 4 Spydercos, or for $100 more a Sebenza, But I have tons of those.

What do you all think?
Anyone Else done something like this?

I feel like when I first discovered Opinels, Moras, and Rough Rider Knives, all of which I have too many to count.

I just Cant't Wait the 30 days they quoted as the estimated Arrival

I haven't Been This Excited for a knife order since I got my Umnumzaan

THE KNIVES FINALLY ARRIVED, here they are

Only you can decide if it was a good deal once you receive them.

I'd probably fall into one of those who had a comment that was too late to consider anyway such as you could get one or two lifetime knives with great blade steel for $200 :)

I would rather have two or three good Kershaws or Spydercos for 200$ than a boatload of cheap Sanrenmu knives any day.

But that's just me. I prefer quality over quantity, personally.

That's pretty much what I was thinking as well.

Indeed, quality over quantity anyday.

Quality over quantiy........Yes but if you are getting good quality and quanity then what?its made in china.

If you've already got more expensive blades, I think you'll be happy with this batch. You'll actually be able to use them with no worries of damaging them due to individual cost.

Besides, I believe you'll find the quality of most, if not all, of these knives are great for the price.

Enjoy!

Btw, you should've gotten a SRM 704, too. ;)

That is an oxymoron, how ironic. No need to beat a dead horse, there are already threads on this very topic.

Well, you probably did better than if you bought 200 knives for $200 from Cutlery Corner at 3am.

Slider, I have a box of Sanrenmu / Land / Navy / Bee knives, and I understand your excitement. The knives are all good, and all "worth" more than the price you paid. However, do they add up to one $200 knife? It's harder to answer I think.

Anyway, the only other comment I have is that you missed out on the Bee L05 or L05-1 model, which I am really VERY fond of. Worth another small order just to get these two -- trust me.

Congrats on your purchase. Not a fan of SRM, but if you are pleased with what you paid for all those knives then that's all that matters. I too am a fan of quality over quantity so I wouldn't have made this purchase, but I would like to know what you think of all of them when they arrive. A lot of times when you are looking for someone to give you reassurance about a purchase it does not always end up the way you hoped.

i want a sanrenmu bad, im afraid to order from china though(i know im probably weird) but i will say that i got a bunch of knives for Christmas this year all over 50.00 each including a kershaw breakout auto except my dad got me a couple "eBay" specials, like the USMC flippers with seat belt cutter and glass breaker built it and i can honestly say i have had it in my hand more than any other i got ha ha. so i think you did great!now hurry up and post pics!!!

whats the old saying? u get what u pay for! thats very true when it comes to knives!!
