Well, I have been slaving away on this one and I am pretty happy with it. I think the attachment straps could be a little more loose, but it is leather and it will stretch a bit even though I did wet mold it. The belt swivel (which I have been dying to try since I had a chance to handle one of Kenny Rowe's, whose looks a lot better than mine by the way) lets the whole thing ride so that you could leave it on while operating a vehicle, if the urge strikes you. I can modify it to use a loop hanger or whatever I want. I put the pouch on there to see how it looked and to see if my loops will work worth a crap. I believe that if you were to use long MALICE clips (The short ones will only go through one strap) you could lash this mother to a ruck or other pack. What else can I tell you? 9-10 oz. veg tanned cowhide, stained with vinegaroon, sealed inside with poly and out side with sno seal. Saddle stitched with artificial sinew. I have received several good comments on this so far. Just guaging the desire of my fellow hogs, but if you think you might be interested in one, drop me an email. I had thought of doing that mod to a sheath using kydex or canvas...Grrr now I gotta try that!!! NICE ONE!!
 
Nice job. I could do that, but it's look more like Charlie Brown's Christmas Tree than that sheath. LOL

Great idea, tho. Making a MOLLE type attachment setup with leather. Very cool.

Wow! You werent kidding when you said it was rather involved! :eek: Looks great to me. :)

What made ya go with the sinew? I dont get to work with it as much as I used to, its great stuff.

I like the swivel loop, kind of a stable version of a dangler, cool. :)
