My sandblasted BK5 and BK20

Just something different other than being stripped with stainless hardware. I thought mine was going to be unique after blasting it, but after hanging out here for a while, I see that most the bk5s are stripped! We'll see how it turns out in a few hours.

Not deep, but looks okay. How did the helmet turn out?
 
Helmet didn't turn out very well. The etchant solution ran under the vinyl, so I just sanded it off. Project nixed I guess! lol

That sucks. Actually, the more I look at it, the more I like it. You have any shots back a bit, that shows the whole blade at once?
 
The lighting is not good right now. You can barely see it when I take a pic of the whole knife. I'm gonna blast and just patina the blade and call it a day!

Yeah, that doesn't show up as good as I thought it would.
 
Bummer! That would have looked awesome had it worked out.
 
I think I need to get MTM to make more of a border around it. The fumes from the etching solution darkened the blade around the logo and you can see the outline of the shape of the vinyl.
