Looking forward to seeing some vids of you smashing some lumber with that bad boy. Hopefully it powers through in a couple cuts, because I for sure wouldn't want to be swinging 3 pounds of steel for long! How's the balance?

I finally got on a decent amount of fish yesterday. I have been catching a few here and there, but hadn't caught them like I did yesterday I fished from around 4pm until 6:15 and ended up catching 12-15 walleye(lost count), a big 14" yellow perch, and one smaller northern pike. I had a blast and actually almost ran out of minnows before I was done. I was taking the hook out of the mouth of a decent walleye and dropped the darn thing............it hit the ice right next to the hole, wiggled a little bit, and was gone down the hole.

it balances really well on the ground, I need to prop something up and really get a few good swings with it.. it swung at a 4x4 and chunks few off of the post then on the 4th swing it just split the 4x4 in half, the 4x4 in on the ground.

please read this, I sent a mass email asking for a rating on my site and I never done it before so I kept clicking "ok" and waiting for a confirmation pop up window saying email sent and there wasn't and I kept clicking "ok" so everyone probably got abot 10 emails from my site.

**JUST A HEADS UP, EVERYONE WHO ORDERED SOMETHING FROM MY SITE SHOULD OF GOTTEN AN EMAIL ASKING FOR A RATING OF YOUR PURCHASE, IT IS NOT A BILL OR INVOICE**

Ah yes, i just got the email from giedymin that my chopper is finished :D I get pics tomorrow. Excitement grows.

Dodged a bullet! That dude who was asking about a THK/WSK yesterday decided he wants a Fugitive instead. *whew*

personally, if you buy an animal because "its' cool" and dump it later, .... i have unpolite words for you.

You're absolutely right, that's unconscionable. A pet requires a long-term investment of time and love.

I heard a story a while ago about humane shelters being over-run with chickens... because too many people had bought laying hens thinking "hey, free eggs!" and then realized it required care and effort to get those eggs... :grumpy: They say the same thing happens every year with bunnies, a few weeks after Easter. That sucks because it ties up a lot of resources the shelter could put to other uses like vaccinations and spay/neuter programs.

Personally, I'm thinkin' chicken soup or rabbit stew... problem solved. *shrug*

Angie has been wanting another puppy for some time, partly because I've never raised one... but she's decided to wait until one of our dogs passes on. Kind of a tough thing for her to face the fact that our dogs ain't getting any younger, but it's reality. Anyway the point is, like WW said, bringing a new critter into the family is a big decision and should be approached with thoughtfulness and a view towards the long term.

I brought the wieght down from 3.7 pounds to 3.2 pounds.

Yikes. The hog-hunting spearheads I made for a friend here only ended up being 2# and I thought that was pretty burly...

Burly week. A bunch of deadlines got pushed up - hate this sort of last minute change. Almost done. Gonna need a drink tonight.

And on that note, how's everyone else doing? Plans for this eve?

Completely agree James. No animal comes to your house late at night and says, "I'm moving in for the next 10 years." The owners make the decision to have a pet and they should step up and deal with that decision. I can't tell you how much it angers me when animals are destroyed because owners are too stupid to understand responsibilities with owning a pet. I'm going to stop now before I say something that's inappropriate.

Actually, yeah, sometimes they do ;) It wasn't at night, but our Slippy (the one that growls) was an abused stray kitten, and when she met me... well, it wasn't totally my decision to keep her. She adopted us. :)

I definitely get your point, though.
