710 if you make up some brackets to support the wood your chopping and get it off the ground you will get some better bites, not to mention having less movement so far more accuracy. Or when in the bush i just use other logs, or my knee to keep it still if im kneeling and chopping on the ground.

But that looks like one hell of a chopper.

Very nice!

Wow. :D

My Big Chris custom is finished. 0.1 M4, FFG, natural linen Micarta scales, and special ordered for an extended/lightweight back packing trip to Gannet Peak in Wyoming.

Big Chris is a great guy and very talented. We met him at Blade and he was totally cool with Todd spilling beer on his knives.

So my boss is one of those guys who has no freakin clue how to do my job, but will tell me every day how I SHOULD be doing it. If I didnt have my wife and kid to support, I think he would get himself roughed up quite a bit. I am drinking and trying to stay zen. He treats everyone that works under him the same way, so its just a mater of time before he steps in it sideways, but I cant afford for it to be me that teaches him......

That statement is only half true. I did in fact spill beer all over his table, but it didn't get on his knives, Big Chris is indeed a cool dude. I don't believe he thought I was telling the truth though when I told him it was my first beer of the day. :D

Got me a new phone. Lets see how it handles the forums.

You know I'm in much in the same boat Thorny, so much so that I'm ready an working on getting out of that environment. I can tell you what has worked for me, but I wouldn't suggest. Anytime I'm talked to rudely, disrespectfuly, or treated like a dumbass. I make it a point to be meaner, more disrepectfull and make sure they know if they wasn't such a dumbass they wouldn't be pawning there work off on me. What's the worse that can happen. They fire you and and your out of that toxic environment with 6 months worth of unenployment most likely. Yeah, threaten me with that! Like I said, I wouldn't necessaritly advise it, but I'm at the point I don't give a sh!t. The big bossman at work has finally realized I think that I do in fact not care and none of his tactics work with me. Ever since we had out pow wow over the business trip compinsation, he's. Givin me a mile to stay out of my way. Knock on wood...........next time hand him your tools and tell him to piss up a rope!

If I was Union I might get away with that Todd..lol, but I am not. I can however go to my corporate office about him, and since at least two other people have transferred or quit because of him, they might listen.
