misque, I'm so sorry that you and your wife have to go through this. :( :(

God has and does work miracles, and I will be praying for one.

misque, I’m sorry to see that the situation seemed to turn the other way for you and your wife. I'll continue to send prayers your way. Keep faith in the Big Guy upstairs, He can do a lot more than any doctor can.

..I told him that although they have given up on her, I want her taken care of for the time being because now it's GOD's turn to heal her and I'd get back with him later.

We are now praying for a MAJOR miracle.

God Bless all of you guys!

Mike,
This is the right attitude! You are obviously a very strong spirit and have deep faith! I will continue to pray very hard for a miracle for Sue and continuous strength for you! May God answer all our prayers!!

My prayers and thoughts are with your wife and you.
You said she's a fighter, that's already a battle won. With you on her side (and prayers to the big guy) I'm praying hard for a miracle win to this war.

At 4:05pm today, my beloved wife passed away.

I cannot possibly express the depth of my gratitude for the prayers encouragement and support this board has given me.

I feel as if half of my heart has been ripped away. The ache in my heart is Hellish but is comforted only in the fact that she is in a far better place than this world of pain and sorrow.

May God richly bless all of you for your kind thoughts and prayers.

Mike,

I am now sitting in the Technology Lab of the community college where I teach trying not to ball my eyes out-44 year old instructors really shouldn't cry on the job.

I went through a horrible divorce ten years ago, and a couple of horrible relationships afterwards. I finally gave up on finding anyone and resigned myself to living alone. However, someone else had other plans, and so my beautiful wife walked into my life. Given all that I've gone through and how wonderful she is, I don't know how I would live without her. Perhaps this is why your plight has struck me so deeply.

I am so very sorry. But it is true that she is in a better place, and she is watching over you and waiting for you . You have my sympathies and prayers.

That was painful news.
My sincerest sympathies to you and yours.
Your strength through this has been truly amazing, humbling and inspiring...
Please take care of yourself.

"Your lost friends are not dead, but gone before, advanced a stage or two upon that road which you must travel in the steps they trod."
-Aristophanes

None are truly gone from us if they are remembered in our hearts. The lives they touched stay changed forever by their kindness in deed and word.

May you have the strength to carry the burden of your grief until it rides light upon your shoulders, that you might once again look toward the heavens and rejoice in the light of the day. Keep strong and be well.

With much sympathy,

Longstrider.

Mike,

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I'm not the most religious guy, but will say a prayer for your wife and yourself.

At least you can take consolation in knowing that she is no longer in any pain.

All my heartfelt condolences to you for your loss... no words can express what I am sure we all want to tell you.

I am truly sorry brother.

Mike,

I've been silently watching this thread and hoping/praying for the best for you and your wife.

Having just gone through a freakishly similar situation with my 59 year old father and losing him a little over two weeks ago I can only say I'm sorry.

I know no words will actually ease the pain but if you ever need someone to talk to let me know.

Chad
