She is in my prayers. Stay with her as much as possible, but don't neglect your own health. God Bless!!

Mike, I understand. From a professional and personal level. I'm familiar with the disease and cancer more genrally.
My wife died of breast cancer after a herorc fight. In retrospect her prayers were answered because she lived to see her sons raised and educated.
I'm living with the disease myself.
Prayer does help!

Just saw this now. Lots & lots of group prayers are comming your way from my family to yours!

Many Blessings,
Anthony

My heartfelt thanks go out to each of you for your prayers.

I continue to get daily reports of "she probably won't live thru the night" from the med staff, and yet, she continues to live and fight and every day makes small gains and small setbacks. Two steps forward, one step back. Today's concern is that too much CO2 is building up in her system from her lungs being filled with fluid. She'll get over this too.

They are finally realizing that what I've been telling them all along is true. That being my wife is a fighter whose come up against giants most of her life and has beaten them all just like David did to Goliath. Her warrior spirit is not to be taken lightly. She prevails when most people, even me from time to time, had our doubts. :D
And so, she continues to confound the med staff by fighting on and not giving up the ghost. God's hand strengthens her and your prayers are helping that to happen. Thanks again for your support.

May God bless you all!

Seven years ago I was in the emergency room when the doctors told a friend of mine that his wife probably wouldn't make it through the night. I was part of the group of friends who kept a prayer vigil in the hospital that night when she had brain surgery. We have Thanksgiving dinner with them every year, largely in celebration of her salvation. She is in a wheel chair, but she is a vital part of her team when we pay trivial pursuits. Miracles happen.

We'll pray for a miracle and an abundance of grace, love and mercy.

My prayers are with you. Keep thinking positive thoughts. It is important that you do. God bless.

So many people complain about their spouses that it's wonderful to hear about two people who really love, support, and take care of each other.

It's awful when those two people, you and your wife, go through a nightmare.

My wife and I will both be praying for you.

Some prayers to St. Jude-
Years ago I was in desperate times and was given a list of prayers and novenas to st jude, the patron saint of desperate causes. Pray to him, and believe. He saved my life.
Here are some prayers to st jude for physical healing. I do not know what faith you belong to but these can be comforting.
My prayers go out to you and sue.
Peter

"St. Jude, you witnessed the healing power of our Lord Jesus. You saw his compassion for the sick and dying. You yourself touched the sick, shared the sorrows of the mournful, and encouraged the despairing. You received this authority and healing power to work wonders, to cure the incurable, to make people whole. We ask you to intercede with our brother, Jesus, to send his saving grace to heal the sickness and suffering of _________________________________, to uplift his/her despondent spirits, and to instill hope in his/her hearts. Amen."

"St. Jude, through prayer you praised God for the wonderful works of Jesus. You asked God for the strength to meet the challenges of your apostolate. You put your trust in God's mercy, believing firmly that God loved you and understood your joys and sorrows, your hopes and fears, and your triumphs and failures. You understood that nothing is impossible for God. I ask you to pray for me now before the Most High so that I too might be filled with God's saving power, understand God's will for me and faithfully place myself in God's loving hands."

"St. Jude, you remained faithful to our Lord, even unto death. You gave your life so that others might live. You endured physical pain and emotional abandonment. But you gladly joined your sufferings to those of our Savior, Jesus, and thus shared in the redemption of the world. I ask you now to intercede with our brother, Jesus Christ on my behalf, so that I too can find strength in the face of my suffering. Help me to trust in God and put my life in his hands."

Things at the hospital have begun taking a few turns for the better since yesterday. My wife appears to be producing her own blood platelets again, up to 31,000 today from 24,000 two days ago, she was stable enough, though still unconcious, to be taken in for a CAT scan to insure there was no inner cranial bleeding(praying hard for a good report tommorrow) and the topper last night from the Oncologist was "the Leukemia has become a non-issue at this point, if we can keep her alive thru the lung congestion, she'll more than likely make a full recovery from the Leukemia" that's para-phrased of course. WHOO-HOOO!!! :D :D They have just completed another bone marrow biopsy to insure she is in remission from the AML. I'll find out the results of these tests tommorrow or the next day.

How am I gonna get any sleep tonight?! :D

Now the family's prayer focus is on the healing of Sue's lungs from the massive fluid build-up. Technically they are calling it double-pneumonia but I was under the impression that pneumonia entales a respiratory infection and that hasn't been mentioned yet. Oh well, at any rate we're praying that God continues this miracle He's performing in my wife. God bless each of you for your continued prayer support here at BFC!

Gotta get off now, the lightning's starting to sizzle outside. Looks like we're in for a t-storm.

Alll the best,
Mike and Sue U.
