Mykl Clark of Brownswood Tx - Bad News!

Mykl Clark has 7 total passaround knives, a Matt Roberts (LongRifle) custom passaround and the Catcherman/ pacific Salt & Vagabond Spyderco. He's had them for some months.

His email and phone is never answered. He lives or used to live in Brownwood TX:

I have a cell #, never answered, and a work number which may or may not be valid. He's a Bali fan, has bali tattoos I think. He was living in brownswood TX, possibly has moved. He has kin of somekind in Early TX, but they don't know how to get a hold of him.

I don't know what's up with this guy, but I'll ask if he can be banned and I'll be calling the police today.
 
Thanks for all the help Dave. Too bad things turned out this way. Let me know if I can help you. I tried his work number Friday and Monday, still no luck. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.


~By the way...I sent PM's, letters, cell and work calls, and emails, no response to any of them...

After a little research he is banned for now.

I hope he is OK and if he contacts me and makes good on several knives that are in his posession (trades and pass around knives) we will be more than happy to reinstate him.
 
If anyone hears from him, please keep me in the loop.

If there was something that came up that is not allowing him to fullfill his obligations to members here and he addresses all of them. He will be more than welcome to return.
 
Mr. Clark also has the passaround Spyderco SS Cricket, the Jester w/Photon and Ladybug w/Photon.

All of my attempts at contacting him have also been in vain...

I just the police in brownwood, they can't help it's a civil matter.

jhillas, I've had the same non-response to the email adresses and phone numbers. The "I screen my calls" is a little irritating :grumpy: .
 
Ditto on the work number. I never get him just leave a message. The receptionist is not terribly helpful either.
 
Frank, I called the postal inspectors and they said there isn't anything they can do. They gave me the number of the Department of Consumer Affairs in Ft. Worth. Didn't help much either but here's the number if anyone else would like to try.

I had a problem a while back with a guy who scammed a few of us into sending him a knife because he was deploying out the next day. I called the police in his home town and told him what had happened. He talked to the prosecutor's office and they told him that since we sent the knives to him at our own risk without getting the money up front, they could not do anything. I don't know much about the passaround forum, but how in the heck did he get 7 knives before someone caught on :confused:
The way I got my knives and the other knives back was to stay on him and never give up.
 
Unfortunately since there no single coordination point for passarounds (both a strength and a weakness) he ended up with several.

Was you problem with mykl clark on someone else.
 
Just got back from the Abilene/Brownwood area on Monday. I wou;d have been glad to pay him a visit at work, kinda like a wake up call. If I can help, it is only a few hours drive from Dallas, and the kidos can always use another tipr to Nana's house ;)

One question............what good does it/did it do to ban him at this point?

If he's not able to post and answer to you folks, WTF? :confused:
 
We've left email and phone messages over and over. If he wants to get in contact he can.

If he's banned, it may proviide incentive for him.
 
He is also a member at the USN. You might be able to contact him through them.

I am actually very suprised by this. Hope he comes clean. :(

I did post over there. Lots of folks chimed in with
suggestions but no contact yet.
Thanks for the tip though!

Edited to add that he certainly has my phone number, email address and mailing address if he wants to connect.
