I just read up a little on hamantaschen and they can be made with many different types of fillings.
What filling is you Mom using for these ones ?

Thanks, not only are they tasty, but I get such a nostalgic feeling eating them. They taste just like I remember. :):thumbsup:
As I was once explaining to someone, storebought ones taste okay, but they're just cookies. Homemade ones are somehow hard and chewy and slightly scorched on the bottom....and sometimes the filling overcooks and leaks out to make a wonderful rubbery edge around the corners...
...I realized by objective standards Mom isn't a good cook, but I just love everything she makes. (first time I was served chicken in a restaurant, I called the waiter over to complain. "This chicken is moist inside, are you trying to kill me with this raw poultry?!? Now take it back and desiccate it properly!" :D

Oh, to answer your question: they are cherry, and I think prune. (but could be blueberry, it's hard to tell)
