HEEEHAW!!!!! The day is here. All that is left to do is setup work forges, move anvils, chairs and tables. :D :D :D

had a great time today at the hammer-in. Thanks to Lamont and Dan I also found as easier way to get home than going through all the traffic in Boston. George, thanks again for a great time. Jim Siska and the others all gave really good demos . I think we all left there with more than we had when we arrived. George, who won the cutting competition? Thanks again.

Marcell

Guys Had a great time. You guys rock. It was great to meet everybody and see some awesome demos talk to some great makers and learn a ton. Not enough time to see all the demos but what I missed I'll catch next time. Thanks to all who made it possible and thanks to Joe for the invite can't wait for the next one.
Sean :D
And if I had known dog were OK

Sean we said dogs not horses   :D Bring them next time. Jaguar needs to be put in his place, because he keeps beating up Ferrari and Viper :D

thanks to everyone for showing up. and thanks to all who helped demonstrate, cook, donate raffle material, and set-up. it was a hell of a turn out. and a huge thanks to IG for holding it at his place again. hope you all got home safe, :D

Just wanted to chime in to say thanks to I.G and all the other folks that made the Hammer In happen. Great bunch of guys who are more than willing to teach you everything they know. It was my first time seeing anything coming out of a forge and I must say, I had a great time. I even got to make a few billets for myself thanks to Mike Spangler and I.G. I singed some eyebrows, blistered a few fingers and burned a big hole in my jacket in the process. Where else could you have that much fun! Great demos, great people, what more can you ask for.

Thanks again to all.

Bill

yes thanks all that showed up
I had a great time too.. I hope the guys liked the Leather demo,
I was missing some of my tools and I was out of my element but it went OK I think. normaly I don't do and talk at the same time,, I'll blaim any thing wrong on that :D :D
I got home just at mid-night..some pooped too...rain all the way. :( .

IG's you ole dog you, as Grasshoppa said, big thanks for even letting me into you yard,,,sshhheesshh  .

Didn't get to see many demos, but I got some nice pics of Mace forging a blade. Definately learned a few things,,,like, damn that beer from Canada was good...all Canadian beer bottles have twist off tops.

Had fun participating in the cutting comp, it's a good learning experience. Next time I'll have a new knife, more weight better edge geometry, might even put a real handle on it  .

As always a person hangs out with some very interesting characters when they meet at IG's :D

Just started playing around with the damascus I made at Hammer In yesterday. Ground into a bit and have it a quick etch.
