Name-A-Knife Contest

Other famous twins include (some have already been mentioned)

Apocatequil and Piquerao
(OK, so it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue)

Castor and Pollux (for me, Castor is too associated with castor oil to make a good knife name, but hey...)

Jacob and Esau (I guess they had some problems, though)

Pharez and Zarah (er...but they had problems too, didn't they?)

Mary Kate and Ashley (C'mon guys, I'm flailing here)

Yin and Yang (OK, not twins, but the same concept) (admitted problems, however, in some circles with referring to one's knife as a 'yang')

Matthew and Gunnar (help...me...)

Phil and Ross (uh...two guys I went to junior high with)

Or maybe you could simply call it the #12, in reference to Shakespeare's Twelfth Night.

I have to go, the lady's here with my medication.

Fuzz.

Hey Allen,

How about "Synchronicity"
describing perfect rythm and unity.

My choice for the name would be SIGMA, which means sum of the parts in statistical terms.

Thanks

Hi Allen:
Big fan here!
Using your own idea of same and different, please consider the following in part or of the whole.

Aberrant
Deviant
Twin Aberrant
Twin Deviant
Harmonic Anomaly
Equal Rival
Rival deviation

Thanks/Regards
Larry

I like the "Kissaki". This term actually refers to the curvature of the tip of a Japanese blade. Or "Kwaiken", which is a small decorative knife.

The Deviant?

Oh dear.

*giggle*

"Come here, little girl, let me show you my knife..."

Smells like a lawsuit waiting to happen to me

How's about "Kasper the Ghost"

since Allen has a Ghost and Pat has a Kasper.

Actually, Casper would be better, but it's probably copyrighted by the movie people.

My offering the Chamleon.
A lixard who can change it's colors.
Like your knife it's appearance may change but it remains the same.
My 2 cents.

My first pick would be Phoenix, but some guy with a huge list glommed it first.

Shappa, you beat me to it! Chameleon, if it hasn't been used before, would certainly be appropriate for a knife that can take on different "colors", so to speak.

Hi Allen! Thanks for letting us share the fun a little bit!

Okay, I see a trend towards classical referances here, so here's my bid!

Scylla
Charybdis
(Not 100 percent positive on spelling)
These were the classic Rock and a Hard place of greek mythology. Not a good pair to be caught between!

I cut it, and I cut it, and it's STILL too short!

How about moriah? It has a nice, mystical sound and is not similar to anything else out right now."It cuts like the wind."
