Name some QUALITY titanium flipper knives <$500

I dont really care much for the looks of the hinderer 0562, but that half track is sweet as hell. As is the goblin

Also check edcbid.com this is the ebay for knife addicts! I would strongly recommend you do give it a try -> you will save $$$ and get a great deal + legit knife. Everyone posts pics and mentions of any blemishes or scratches. Even when someone mentioned a blade was lightly scratched I could not find the damn scratch until I looked at it with glasses and magnifier lol. That's how honest the trades go here and once I tried edcbid.com few days ago, now I am going to buy few more. Never disappointed.

I have added some other Ti flippers or not
I like Titanium a lot but I don’t mind too much adding other material on the presentation scales
As time goes I am less and less interested into CF, the 0470 is a noticeable exception

Wow, super nice assortment!

Since you have both "budget" zero tolerance knives, as well as a couple high end knives, Im curious to ask: how does the action and lockup compare?
 
CRK has spoiled flippers for me ;)
My favorite actions are on my CRKs, I really like playing with them (Umnumzaan, large and small inkosi/21 plain, CF or micarta)

the 0640 has an incredible action for a knife on washers and IMO it is better than the XM-18 (mine is a gen.4 and runs on PB washers) even if the XM-18 is exceptional too
But for the price the 0640 is IMO better

The XM-18 has a better lock disengagement compared to the ZT Hinderer due to the design of the thick lock bar (it is not a skinny)

the action on my 0562 is better than the action of the 0393 but I like the 0393 better because the blade stops work as thumb studs too much more like in a standard Hinderer

the 0470 has the same great action as the 0562 but the blade is completely drop free on mine
It has a good lockup and the disengagement of the lock bar is easy (the handle has a large cut out to make the access easier)

The Half track has the best action (I run it on bearings) and the best lock disengagement
The ergonomics are good for such a small knife

only the Koenig beats the half track for action and handling but I kind of like the ergos on the half track better

if your question is about the lock up geometry, I have had no lock failures issues on any of these knives
 
A USA made Torrent would probably cost 1500$+
I find a lot of NICE (to me) USA design is either manufactured elsewhere or way too much $$
I like the double sided inlay stuff so it's a choice between a 3-4 knife collection and a 20-30 knife collection

220 bucks on bladehq right now. Pretty damn good. Guessing when the popularity on these EXPLODED, they jammed their warehouse with them and bought too many

You can say that but my opinion is that MAP is not helping them move . ZT at 250 plus have lots of competition but when they allow for sales like this no one can compete with them , just MHO .

Sweet! I've almost grabbed a regular 940 before, but grabbed a benchmade 761 instead(a nice looking slicer, with BIG problems and a short lifespan).

I've lusted after the benchmade anthem especially. The one and ONLY reason I have not pulled the trigger on the anthem, is due to that obscenity of a pocket clip. Worst clip ever(looks like a DONG)

Grabbing a higher end AXIS locking Benchmade is definitely on my knife collecting bucket list.

Mxggear makes a fantastic anthem clip... Don't let that stop you as it's one of my favorite knives!

Having similar knife interests as you, I see i/we have some homework to do after all the new responses! The skinny Hinderer seems good to me, but you mentioned not being too fond of them. Some titanium ZTs look good too.

You know.... what seems to fit the bill is a

From what I hear, CRKs are pretty tough to beat. I'll be looking into some of these recommendations others have posted. As these things often go... I'm further from identifying "the" knife here than I was in the beginning! Knife homework. Gotta love it!

Giantmouse makes some really cool stuff, I think Reate does some models, either way they are great

Or you can just save up and get a Shiro, which would make you feel like you did when you jumped from spyderco to CRK

The more I think of it, and the more I see sll the SOLD OUT signs plastered on other knives Im interested in, the more I think it may be the best choice, considering the rave reviews it gets

Out of all the current benchmades, that one interests me the most (besides the abysmal pocketclip)

Once I start down a path its a slippery slope. Like with chris reeves. Told myself when I bought the Inkosi Id only grab THAT one
