Name some QUALITY titanium flipper knives <$500

My current favorites:

Mini Tolk - a little delicate feeling, but omg fantastic flipper, best ever
Ferrum Forge Archbishop 2.0 - flips like butter, falls shut with a light shake, feels solid and built like a tank
Ferrum Forge Exec - flips smooth, light shake to shut, long and slicey
Real Steel Megalodon - flips smooth, long and slicey but still strong

Gosh...

I found a real steel ti megaladon, but I found out you can't disassemble it. It is threadlocked to withstand a hand grenade

That's a huge problem for me. Such a shame

I have two of these.....neither was thread locked. Shabazz tried to review one several months ago and found it thread locked. Not the experience I've had with the two I purchased new from a knife store in Indiana.

Had 2 of these and no issue taking apart. Not an issue. Great knife but I did not like the serrated lockbar edge. Killed my thumb after awhile. Dealbreaker for me. Other than that the knife punched way way way above its weight.

Wow some of these Les George blades are exquisite

Les George is my favorite maker right now. His knives, whether purchased directly from him or one of his numerous collaborations are just some great knives. The Talos is my favorite, I think, but hard to find. The commonly available ones are mid-tech production knives but there are some nice customs out there, also.

I have a few xm18’s and they are great. I usually have my wharnie with me everyday. With that said I did order an o562ts that’s the one with g10 and a tiger striped blade. I saw the all ti version but with my hinderers I prefer the g10 to all ti. This thread is making me want to put my ti scale back on my spear point though.

Lionsteel TRE Titanium
Three color options, I like the blue one.

Forget that it's made in italy not USA and at smaller side too...

Italy is fine. I should've been more specific..

Most anywhere is fine for knives except china and pakistan. But from what I've learned, isn't the case anymore

I'm certain pakistan is still producing 100% trash tho

I'll peep the lionsteel. I have a fixed blade from them, the T5, and it is a thing of beauty! Haven't tested the niolox steel on it yet in the outdoors(this summer), but I hear its good

As long as it isnt sleipner steel, I may be interested. I dont want any knives prone to corrosion

Ahh m390, nice!

That blue pocket clip tho: ew! If I grab one of these, first thing I'm doing it taking the clip off and stripping every molecule of blue off with metal polish

Hi there!

So, I've been going wild with the knives lately.

It started with some <100$ cold steels
Then I bought some spydercos
Then I bought a benchmade

Then in February, I bought my first CRK: a large plain drop point Inkosi. Made my previous purchases a collective joke!

2 weeks ago I bought the umnumzaan. Very nice as well!

During all this, I've noticed that ball bearing flipper knives are all the rage these days. I'd like to grab a nice one and hop on the flipper bandwagon.

The only flipper knife I own is a BEAT TO HELL CRKT I EDC'd probably 15 years ago.
I've gotta say, that knife has held up quite well for a cheap beater. I require better quality then anything that company makes now

I've noticed those from zero tolerance are extremely popular, but I've gone through what's available from them, and I honestly don't care for most of the designs.
I don't like the looks of the popular hinderer. While I'm sure the knife is grand, I need the knife to be aesthetically pleasing to myself to justify paying the money.
I kinda like the 0450 and 0460 designs, but I'm looking for something....more....for my first quality flipper.

-It has to be titanium handled: one solid piece or dual slabs: it doesn't matter.
-The higher quality stainless steel, the better.
-Must have great fit and finish
-Must be made in USA
-I prefer no wacky colors or anodizing. If it does have anodizing, it isn't the end of the world as I can remove if needed(like I did with my inkosi thumbstuds)
-The blade needs to be over 3 inches. I prefer something between 3.5-4". If I find something AMAZING that's a little shorter, I suppose there is wiggle room.
-I'm looking for something around the 300$-500$ price range, that is worthy of the price. No Shiros for me, for now

The one interesting me most atm is the Reate Torrent. Titanium framelock, with m390 steel, and looks awesome. I've never heard of this maker until last night, but from what I've read, they make pretty good stuff!

However, before I drop 350 on this baby, I wanted to ask YOU EXPERTS first. I only have about a dozen good knives at this point, and I know some of you have huge collections, with far greater experience and knowledge then I do.
I'm worried I will buy this Reate torrent, get it in my hand, and 2 days later find something that makes me say to myself "dang! Wish I found that earlier!!"

If you could just drop some names down below, I'd love to check them out! If you have any pictures to go along, that'd be great too

Thank you so very much! Sorry for the long post: I wanted my first one to be a good one, before I slip back into the shadows to lurk

I'm looking to sell my Jason Clark BuZz Flipper if you're interested. Had it for about a year now and it's a great knife, just never carried it. Easily the smoothest and most hydraulic like action knife I have. Runs on IKBS bearings with a satin finished XHP blade, all titanium too. Retails for around $550 but I'm looking to get around $450 for it. Let me know if you're interested.

Ya, not USA, but the Laconico Keen is head and tails above most flippers in every regard, and the price is right. Praise thread is here: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/massdrop-laconico-keen.1622273/page-6

ZT 0392 is maybe the best ZT and maybe the best Hinderer if you can find one. The Half Track is great if you don't mind less than 3", but it's def pocket bling.

three color options, blue is one of them. They have one that has only single color.

Yes. I have and in my opinion this Wayfarer 247 is top
Notch. The only things that annoys me is that they don’t use torx. They give you the tool, as you can see, but it’s still not as good as torx.
I understand that you don’t really like any of the ZT’s but you owe it to yourself to look again, you really can’t beat their price point for USA made. I know some people have not been happy with customer service, they have been top notch with me.
If you order directly from Olamic you can get whatever you want, down to bare bones Ti. I just got a matching 247 and Swish, if you go w/a pivot collar the pivot will be torx, that's what I did, you still get the tool :) Once you decide what you want, in 2-4 days they'll put it together and send you an album to check it out, THEN you pay for it and it's shipped. Pretty slick process and great guys to work with. Hardest part is deciding what options to go with but if you just want PJ Ti it would be a slam dunk.
