Nano oil, fool me once...

I've never used nano oil, so I have no experience with it. Having said that, (for me) I don't think I will be buying it anytime soon. Partly because of this thread, and I like what I'm using now (Rem oil and Break Free CLP). I don't have any knives with bearings in the pivot, and really only oil my knives up a few times a year.
To the OP: I'm glad it was sorted out and the problem found. I think you did a great service to nano oil and its customers by being persistent.

My favorite lubes are speed x and froglube. I jse speed x on knives I dont want to take apart, a drol on the detent ball and a few on each side of a pivot and it makes any knive sebenza smooth (and even better). I usec froglube as a rust preventing coating since its safe to swallow and on knives I take apart that have washers and on all detents. Bearings its 50/50 between the 2 when I take aoart the knife. Best part is you can get a 1oz bottle of speed x and a 1.5 oz tube of froglube for tbe price of 5ml of nano oil and no aluminum glitter to boot :). Im glac you got a refundand he was trying to make it right but id nevef spend $20 for 5ml of lube, no matter how "great" it is. Buy both or eithef one of the 2 I suggested and id think you'll be happy with results(speed x is better if you dont take apart your knives often or have lots of bearing pivots but either one is great).

I just wanted to say thanks for sharing everyone you just saved me some $$$.

After reading this thread, I ended up getting LibertyLube fully synthetic from Amazon. Works quite well and a fraction of the cost. Needle applicator too. And enough to do my knives, guns, any hinge in the house and car and quite o few of the neighbors houses too.

I'm gonna forgive you bringing this thread back to life simply because Jim Ryan, the owner of Liberty, is a great guy and hell of a holster maker.

He sent me some of the lubes to try out on my firearms a while ago but I haven't done so yet because I had too many already open. Looking forward to giving them a fair trial.
