Native 5 - the perfect pocket knife?

I picked up a S35VN LW off the exchange.
Its a cool little blade. Probably the smallest knife i'd consider carrying.
 
I got one a couple of days ago. Solid little folder. Since there's no thumb ramp I'd like the jimping to extend a little farther along the blade. Even with that nitpick, the Native 5 is going to be one of my favorite pocket knives. It's near perfect.
 
May be Native5 is not perfect, but so far I didn't find anything better. I carry them almost since they came out. It was black G10 S35Vn first. Then I put desert Ironwood scales, then it was 2013 Forum Native5 ( I love these dark green scales). I put a lot of miles on this knife. Currently most of the time I carry Ti Fluted. This is probably the best knife out of entire family. S35Vn is sufficient for my current needs. Scales are great looking, great grip and fantastic ergos. Countered scales are like icing on the cake. My hand loves them. The knife fit in my hand like a glove.
I would love to see more sprints of Native5 in PE.
 
Was this knife offered in Red? I saw a red Native 5 on fb.
I might have to try a N5.

It's been sold out on Spyderco's website for at least a couple weeks now. Unless Never Summer still has some for sale (doubtful) and you can order from them it looks like the secondary market is the only option. There are a few available on the big auction site but be prepared to pay over a 50% markup. I sold mine but if I wanted another one I think keep my eye on the Exchange for a reasonably priced one.
 
I had a brain fart...I had meant to order one in December, the holidays kicked in and I blanked! Lol. Time flies.

Boy, it doesn't take long for these dewds to pounce and jack the price up!
 
Not at all, it's even more messed up as this one was a civil service special and they were releasing the unsold ones to the public. Dude on ebay selling for double.

I used to belong to Forest Fire Crew 34 so I will EDC this folder if I get one!

I never considered a relatively small knife like the Naitive 5, until I saw the Forum 2015 S90V version. What a great little knife. Ultra sharp. A perfect little traveler and general EDC tasks.
