Grinding post heat treat definitely has its challenges (namely more abrasives and time). But the result is the ability to get a much thinner edge. S90V at 62 HRC, flat ground with .008 BTE. that micro bevel...yep, that's the edge all sharpened up! tested it on bamboo with no damage, deformation, or chips. GEOMETRY CUTS!

Here is another hidden tang that needs leather. This one is designed more with an outdoors/woodsman in mind as I did a full flat grind in S90V but left the spine sharp (90 degrees) for striking a flint or other uses.
