Navman Appreciation - Photo Thread

I actually retired from the Navy 3 years ago. Was working as a defense contractor. Life has caused me to move on...so...full time knifemaker!

And yep I will be at Blade again. No table just walking around.

Good deal, see you in the pit.

Here are two of my favorites:

We're gonna need a SCIF in the sub-forum once established.

Here are two I am finishing this week. Pocket fixies/B&T's in hollow ground 3/32" CPM S90V. 3 inch blades, thin handles, pocket clip sheaths. The stitching matches the liners on the green linen micarta. Brass pins and a brass "sakura" pin on each.

Razor sharp (duh) with tapered tangs. Used the blue one to peel some orange rind for my old fashioned (Elijah Craig Rye, for those that must know.)

I've got Barrel Proof and Small Batch, but they're Elijah Craig bourbon. Gotta try the rye I guess.

On topic: nice pieces. Especially liking the "thin blue line".

I don't venture into all the subforums on a regular basis. New members probably won't know where to look.

Keeping this thread open in General, is a good thing. That way we all get to see his work, old and new.

Another one finished (refinished). Puled the pocket clip point EDC and gave it a redux. Thinner, more defined clip and swedge and a new sheath:
