Whoa, this is the first time for me that a knife picture looked better than KSF photography.. that green giraffe is very nice looking. The mark side reminds me of green quartz

Thank you! I was fortunate enough to get the only 2 green giraffe bones made and in one heck of a knife! I feel a bit greedy so I'll most likely let 1 go but for now I'll enjoy them!

Got my black micarta this afternoon and while I don't have pics right now, it's one great knife! Really slim, great blade and the rat tail bolsters are awesome! Having had a custom Zulu before, this gets you amazingly close for a lot less!

say ello to my lill fren #34 giraffe bone, very nice f/f now I need one I would actually use 😳

Received my black linen micarta Esky Zulu today. I fondled and admired it. This is my 5th Northwoods knife produced by GEC and like the previous ones its very near flawless.

The video is up! I really like the knife, and the giraffe bone is top notch!

and my photo:

Cell phone pics.. happy with both of these. Good size and the colors are more muted in person.

Martac cu AAA and lanyard beads for size reference...

jprime, I'm sure you mean well. I would like to clarify that the name I was referring to is "Tony Bose". To the best of my knowledge, Tony's parents gave him that name. ;) Case pays to use that name and Tony's patterns. I think some instances have been deleted from KSF. I'm not sure about the KSF video. I am aware of the Schrade heritage of the name "Zulu spear". The blade was on a double end jack. Tony invented this pattern.

That is one beautiful knife, redsparrow! You chose well.
Thanks Ratbert, it wasn't an easy choice. There were a lot of nice mammoths to choose from and the bone and micarta versions are fantastic! I'm looking forward to seeing more Northwoods Zulus in the next few days.
