New 14 run

Regarding the size of the 14's, my favorite traditional slip joint is pretty much 3-1/2" (+or- 1/8"). I also am often ok with a peanut in size, but I never really use that little pen blade. So, I've always wondered about a small single-bladed clip...if it will fit that peanut niche for me.

I hope to find out soon, with a Dead Skunk and Barry's SFO coming. I do have a couple of the 2016 single spears, and find they have their place, but I think I may be favoring a clip more for this size.

Nobody has received a Dead Skunk yet? I kind of expected them to start hitting mailboxes yesterday.

Mine should arrive today according to the tracking. Might be one of those "chase the mailman down on my lunch break" days if I can get out of here on time.

Mine is "out for delivery" should be waiting for me when I get home from work.

I think the mailman is walking from Ohio to CT with mine. :p Until then...

Thanks for the comparisons, guys. I don't think I'm going to be able to figure it out without having both in hand, unfortunately (?). I tend to prefer single blades, but in a smaller knife the two blade seems like it would add the extra size to make the length deficit less noticeable.

Without having held a 14 in-hand yet, I anticipate it to be a good size for the coin pocket? It would be hard to dethrone my Peanuts for that position but what a worthy adversary the 14 would be.

I'm usually not a fan of acrylic but that is gorgeous...
Thank you. When GEC posted their pics I only saw a couple that I wouldn't have liked if I had gotten one of those. Fortunately, this one isn't one of them and I'm happy with the color distribution.

I can pinch mine open but it takes more than just a subconscious effort. I'll probably be using the nail nick on this one.

I like how each of the skunks will be unique in pattern.
