New 14 run

Hey guys, we are glad you like our #14 SFOs, we were really happy with how they turned out. Just a note however in regards to future GEC runs. As time has gone on more and more issues with the logistics of doing GEC pre-orders have presented themselves. Mostly this is due to the intermittent delivery schedules of the different handle materials, as well as trying to keep the releases as fair as possible to everyone. So with this in mind we have decided to discontinue offering pre-orders on all GEC runs going forward, it will be first come first serve for all customers. I know there are strong feelings on both sides, some love pre-orders, some hate them, but we feel after much internal discussion that this is the best way forward. If you have any thoughts on the issue email me directly at jordan@dlttrading.com
Sounds good.

Did GEC do one of their "Magazine Covers" for the Desert Ironwood # 14 SFO ? I looked thru this thread to see if one was uploaded but didn't see one.

Snakewood was in the mailbox this evening. Great walk and talk right out of the tube. Blade favors the pile side, no rubbing.

I would keep them all, but if you decide to move the appaloosa.....

Ha. I also forgot to picture my red sawcut because it's not convenient right now. I know I'm keeping that one.

Yes, it is very tempting to keep them all. But, I don't like to have more than a few knives that I don't carry frequently, and realistically I can't carry all of these given other things I carry (including 2 not pictured 14s). Just not my style, not to mention I can't afford the habit if I start keeping all the knives. I've got other costs!

Extremely happy with this one.
The red jigged bone from their last run of sfo’s was really nice and I regretted not getting one. I already have a DLT snakewood and Appaloosa from other runs so I went for the sleeper of the group.

Great job capturing the color. I wasn't able to in my pictures (probably due to poor lighting). That's exactly how mine looks as well. I agree it's a sleeper.

Thank you. I had to take it outside into the sun to capture the color. Nice collection of #14's you have going. They are all so nice it would be hard to choose which ones to let go of.

I found the GP Knives 2-bladed 14 SFO was still available so I ordered it last night. I love the single-bladed 14, so it may become trade fodder. I'm hoping to grab some of those DLT SFOs. The Snakewood and Tortoiseshell look amazing!

Elderberry Jig Bone appears to be very similar to the Brown Jig Bone at Cripple Creek?
