New 14 run

I gotta say Rachel, I don’t think I can pick just one out of the bunch of 5 right now! They all have a certain uniqueness. I have always carried larger knives but these have changed my mind concerning how much blade I actually need for cutting. The smaller clip has a lot to do with it, but then there’s the different handles or covers! There are still more to wait for, Lyle’s being one then the CC in stag with the buffalo shield!

Just arrived today. I have to admit I am amazed at the quality of this little knife but I’m on the fence about keeping it. It’s a bit small for my taste. If I could add a little water and make it grow it’d be a no-brainer...

Too lazy to use a lightbox, would rather have a little reflection. Oak leaf appropriately sized. In general not an acrylic fan but had to get a tortoise to join my other turtles. Brass liners vs steel, no functional difference except that's how GEC makes their tortoise acrylic, brass through clearish acrylic. Some of the dark parts seem to float, will have to compare to my other turtles. Someone "snaked" my snakewood while I was checking out. :(

Same.

I agree, John! The Tortoise is probably my all round favorite, for all the reasons you mentioned. I am happy that they made the leaf shield a bit smaller on this Tortoise#14.

Patiently waiting for Lyle's to be ready..

It'll be worth the wait, I'm sure. I've only budgeted for that one, and it's sure been hard letting the others pass by, now that the two-bladers are starting to roll out..

 Case in point. :) Nice assortment. Which is your favorite?

Me too. Thanks everybody else too for your patience , it’s getting exciting.

You could try...;) Rust ahoy!

Small maybe, but that bone looks really beautiful:thumbsup: Of course, not perhaps as beautiful as Smooth Bone with a Bar shield but...:)
