I agree it is a bit more elderberry than anything. I suppose bone does have some variations.
This is from a knife with elderberry jigged bone.

Definitely elderberry in color. For me, it was a pleasant surprise.
I really wanted the last run of elderberry NF barlows to be this color, but of course those turned out to be pink.

What a difference a blade makes! I like the single blade ebony but love the two blade stag.

I didn't see anything...so anyway, I don't really know anything concrete, but yeah, pins only show up every once in a while. An exception to this, I think, is that most all of @waynorth 's SFOs have buttons with them, and I expect the upcoming 14 barlows to be no exception. I got one with my 2016 barlow, and it is pretty cool!

I like that shade of dark red / elderberry / deep purple / whatever it might be called. Good job showing it.Of my 14s thus far, only the cobblestone came with a pin and it could have been generic to JSR.

Now I'm intrigued to see what the upcoming elderberry jigged #14s will look like. Hoping for red rather than pink.
I held off on all the singles, but when the doubles were released I couldn't take it anymore! These are great knives, I love the size, and that the pen is in front of the clip, so both open naturally to me.
Have to make the stag my initial user. But I'm sure I'll get to the antique before too long!

I agree, which is why mine will be sticking around for a long time, and also one of the reasons I sold the one from the last run.
I've tried to love the Peanut (I actually like a lot about it), but the pen blade always seems backwards to me, and I always feel like I'm risking a finger to open it. The 14 solves that, along with adding a bit of extra size.

This one just arrived today. Honestly, as the weeks passed waiting for this, I was second guessing myself for putting one on reserve. Man, am I glad that I did! I really like this little guy! I think aging is really going to bring out the character in the stag too. I’m also second guessing an 85 that I have on reserve. Hopefully it’ll be a pleasant surprise also.
