New 14 run

I don't see any mention of the Northfield in snakewood in this thread. I haven't really seen many knives in snakewood...could be interesting. It is going to be exciting to see how all these different versions turn out. I really need to be careful not to go nuts here (like everyone else). I already have two reserved and I'm not even sure if I'm going to like the size if I'm being honest...more like FOMO setting in. I like several of the SFOs...and haven't even seen what the factory is going to put out for themselves (I see Northfield in stag on the list and who knows for the others). It is fun though :)

Does anyone know who “Cripple Creek” is yet? Ironwood and buffalo shield sounds good.

I can tell many enjoy the suspense and chase. I honestly find it discouraging. Not complaining! It’s just interesting that some relish the challenge and I just want an easy pocket knife...

Yes, I do love the chase. Honestly, GEC does so well with marketing. First they start with the production schedule update followed by the picture progress. It gets us all in a frenzy and just like magic we all have multiple cover options.

I’m not complaining though. It’s a fun hobby, the knives hold value, and trading is a lot of fun too.

I hear you. The last run of 14s stayed on the dealer's shelves long enough to buy one without having to get on any reserve lists. I'm hoping the same will be true of this run, but I don't know how many regular non-SFOs are being made.

In the mean time: "Jingle bells...jingle bells" ;):D

Don't get too discouraged.

This is gonna be a huge run and, with the obvious exception of the TC Barlow (No 2 blade?? Booooooo.), most options shouldn't be too tough to track down once they are released. The number of single blades especially, is staggering by GEC standards.

I realize that some retailers have managed to apparently "sell out" thru pre orders and whatnot. Still, there should be lots of "low hanging fruit" available that are super cool.

Trust me rishma, you’re going to have many opportunities to get any knife you’re gonna want. That being said, this is not like buying something in an instant, from Amazon, just because you want it. Many of us collectors, (Charlie included) will tell you that they searched for 10 years or more to find certain knives.

I’m gonna stop updating now, Jerry. Simple fact, you either have the cash or you don’t.

As it stands now, I only know of two SFOs that are actually sold out. That would be, as many of you know, are (Barry) or GunStockJack’s and Charlie’s SFOs. All others, as far as I know, are still available!

I believe that CK's early reserves are also sold out.

I'm particularly excited, the more I think about it, with the Lick Creek Cut co. #14! Lyle is undertaking the next step in getting his own brand/business up and running, so I applaud him for this! Letting us in on his first knife produced with the "Lick Creek Cut. co" tang stamp! History boys, History!

Look at the SFO's email the owners of the SFO's...Worse then can do is say no or put you on a wait list...there will be plenty of knives, this is a giant run!
