I amended my post. What I really wanted to know is who has an official starter order or preorder. I think any 4.7 ordered before steel got cut and the presale was offered would be a preorder. That's what I want to know.

I'm in the same boat. I ordered mine 12-28-2015. Can't wait to get that shipping notice! I even ordered a custom sheath several months later and already have it waiting.

I received my 4.7 3V starter just last week. I think Ellie is in there lighting fires under people's butts... Come on 4.1!

Check back Wednesday at 11 AM Pacific time for GSO-4.7s in CPM-20CV and CPM-154. The CPM-3V blades will be available later in the day, at 5pm. These orders will be fulfilled within 90 days, AFTER the existing preorders and presale orders."

Looks like they are turning loose the remainder of the inventory of the 4.7 models to be shipped once their existing 4.7 orders are filled.
The website lists these as regular production factory 1st.
