So I went on a hike today up river a bit. My son wanted to play in the water and I wanted to play with my knives (see pix at the end of post 
) Anyways, we had a great time. He kept himself busy throwing rocks in the water and everything else 4yo's do, and I was having fun playing with my new BK5. So we spent a good couple hours there playing and then my son says he's ready to go. So we packed up and left, but as soon as we came 'round the first little bend there was a guy sittin on a blanket or towel or something reading a book. I though it was kinda strange but hey what ever. Then we took a couple more steps and I noticed that he isn't wearing ANYTHING 
So I picked up my son and unsnapped the snap on my spec ops sheath, and quickly walk by the old guy.
SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?! Why would someone go to a state park and sit by the river butt ass nekid???? There are kids there Com'on people!!!
But yeah this is a true story....and no I didn't take a pic of the naked old guy.

is it legal to do nudist activities there? it is in many parks i know about. they're completely harmless.
you'd probably not complain too much if it was a colony of 19 yo college girls
kids are usually the result of two consenting adults that get together in a naked fashion. just so you know

What is it with you people? Has your kid never seen a naked person? Call me a weird German, but I got my first swimming trunks in primary school, before that, when we went to the lake the little kids just ran around naked, and a good amount of adults did the same thing. That's just the way it was. Perfectly normal.

got into road biking a few months ago and remembered an ex-officemate from a few years ago who was into it. i lost his # and so i googled his info to invite him to our group ride and re-connect/network...first google hit was his "aggravated criminal sexual contact" and "endangering the welfare of a child" conviction back in '93
...the head shot is definitely him (looks kinda up-to-date actually). i know the conviction was back in '93 and i would've brushed it off if it was armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, or hell...murder as long as the other party was also an adult. but damn those charges involving a child should be death penalty imho. i'm googling every person's name i meet from now on

You can never have enough choil.
I picked up this SOG Field Pup for a song recently. I'm not a huge fan of recurves, but for the price, it's a good knife.
Even better is the sheath it came with. Early versions, I've read, had a poor sheath, but this one is nice.
Stiff construction, decent pouch, Molle strap on the back. Good retention.
I hope the Tweeners come with something this good.

Kydex would be okay with me too. But if it's nylon, I really like the stiff, heavy duty feel of this little SOG sheath.
