I'm pretty sure they knew I had a Becker with me ;) It's kinda hard to hide a 9 under your shirt as a neck knife :D

Dyeing my micarta is going horribly. I'm using the micarta Ka-Bar gave me with the LE10 and using Rit. I keep soaking it, tried sanding then soaking as well. It just doesn't want to take.

Murph, I dyed my LE micarta this weekend with Rit. It definitely changed the color, but was kind of a light dusty chocolate. Then I hit it with a couple applications of tung oil and it got a lot darker brown and looked great.
 
Anyone know what kind of spider this is? Sucker bit me, either or it stabbed me with a very small blade

keep an eye on spider bites... they get worse, goto the docs. don't want to lose your fighting arm :)
 
Fighting arm? Only thing he fights with it is, well, himself. If you catch my meaning. ;)
