I just put mine into service #059, I sent my BK10, the old one up to Nick for some Leather so my BK12 get some love.
 
OH, there will be pic's. I've got more steel than I need, (though not all I want) i've been neglecting the sheaths.

Ordered a Maxpedition bottle holder today. And a strap. I want to be ready.
 
Choiled my 7 this morning. Talk about a major improvement. The choil works well with "thumb over the ramp" grip. It works so well that I'm leaving the ramp on the 7. I'm liking these choils.
 
just so everyone knows, this is what happens when you leave a high carbon knife in the kitchen with my wife. this is my favorite kitchen knife. go figure

that's a familiar scenario - shortly after getting my first (and to date only) japanese laminated steel kitchen knife, my wife left it soaking for a day, then put it in the dish drainer with the edge touching other items -- there was no confusion in her mind that I was significantly underimpressed.
she now towel dries cutlery.
 
ahhh i dont have any. I coulda swore i had some, looks like im going to the hardware store tomorrow
 
Hoping the kukri comes in today. If not today, it should be here tomorrow.
