Just take Sal up on the offer. It's better than a paperweight.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
I don't think that should matter, they make plenty of serrated knives in Golden. I'd take a picture and email someone in customer service. You'll have to pay for the regrind, but at least you'll have a functioning blade after that. I've arched tools on batteries before by accident, it happens. Don't sweat the haters and take Sal up on the regrind!
Great excuse to go out and buy another one. But be careful around electrical stuff.
I'm looking at one now. I sure won't pay retail for one again. The blade thing is kinda crappy IMO. I could go out and buy a comparable Benchmade and break the blade in half and get a new one put on for $30+shipping.
You should do just that. It's good to try other things from time to time. Would a ZT0452 be something that would work for you?
NopePics if damage?
Don’t have one? Not gonna share one? Only asking cause they’re are sone great folks with great ideas on here that might be able to help to c it.Nope

You should not feel the need to explain yourself. You simply asked a simple question and true to form the usual crew jumps in with their philosophy on life and how wrong you are for even thinking it. According to the responses what you did was a terrible life changing event. Somehow it never fails.Stuff happens. Some of us treat our knives as tools and they get used. Mine have been used in some rough conditions. This one, though not the tool for the job, was the only tool on hand. It fit the bill and got messed up.
Honestly, I got into Spydercos when I worked for Gander Mountain because we got the sweet discount. I picked up a Tenacious that I still use from time to time. Prior to that, it was Buck, Swiss Army, Kershaw, and Schrade. I have a BM Griptillian now. I keep my collection spread pretty well across production knives. That ZT looks sweet. I may look into those as well. I really, REALLY want to start looking into some customs.

Hi Sharkattacksw,
It's not a practical direction for us for all of the reasons mentioned.

Doesn’t sound like it fit the bill at all. Never understood why people use knives like this.
I never understood why people have to come in and contribute nothing to the thread, but here you are. It's probably a trend in your life though.
You seem to be mistaking this forum where condescending attacks and abrasive attitudes are welcome. It isn't.
I live in a 3 " jurisdiction and regularly carry 3.25. The ballsiness!I’d love to get an 0452, but it’s just a tad too long for me to carry (legally). Plus, I’m an office dweller, so pulling out a pocket sword would most likely get me fired. And that’s no good. I could carry it on the weekends, however, so I may still get one. Right now, the 0462 is calling my name. Good luck with your choice.
