Ok. Now I know this seems like a lot, but it's really not that much and it's not heavy. This is the "No Worry Too Small" Bag. It used to have a lot less in it, but now that the wife is around, I like to make sure that I can take care of her too.

Here are the pictures:

Edit:
One thing I'd like to point out about the kit, you'll notice I don't have a multitool, SAK, etc. with the kit. That's because I never leave the house without that stuff anyways, so I didn't include them in the kit. If you see me outside my home, you're garanteed that I have a mini Maglite, firesteel, Leatherman Charge TTi (with bit kit), a RAT Izula, and my Recon 1 folder on me.

Honestly, I've never looked to see who makes it. This is my second one. I did have an OD green one just like it, but it had a hole burned in it during an exercise in what not to do whilst camping. They hold up really well. I get them from a local hole-in-the-wall surplus store.

Hey guys, I built the kit around a ECWCS Bear Jacket and dedicated the two main flap pockets to survival. . The pocket survival kit is part of the larger Bear Jacket kit, but can be carried independently, in warmer climates. As a main pocket survival kit...

Bear Jacket kit/ Pocket survival kit with RC -4

Kitfiniish.jpg

ebucklepic.jpg

Added this E Buckle after initial pictures were taken ..

Size - 6.5 x 4.5 x ¾
L W D

Weight (PSK) - Approximately 8.5 Oz

This kit is small and easily fits in the top slash pocket of my BDU trousers . The pocket kit is split into four separate compartments and all contents are ether waterproof or sealed in waterproof bags.

Pocket one contains an easily accessible large signal mirror, pocket 2 is dedicated to navigation fire craft and water purification while pocket 3 contains shelter, trapping, fishing and medical supplies , . Pocket 4 contains a block of magnesium. The main fire steel is secured in the center and is easily accessible when needed, a spare backup flint is also included in the kit in case the main flint is lost… All of the needles have been magnetized as well . The kit has a Velcro closure as well as an inside tie off to secure the main fire steel and other contents, as well as, an outside e buckle to secure contents further..

The idea was to put the maximum amount of gear in a light compact kit, for either Backpacking , Camping , Hunting or as an E&E kit, In case the main BOB had be abandoned. The pocket kit is carried in the right or left front pocket of the Bear Jacket. The other pocket contains 100 ft of Para cord a Swisss champ plus, OD emergency blanket as well as the other items listed below. The RC- 4 is secured with a Para cord harness, or worn on the belt for easy access as a main fixed blade … The Bear Jacket fits somewhat snugly allowing the contents to be closer to the body to prevent hang-ups. and can be worn fully outfitted comfortably under a ECWCS or other Parka …

Cool vest broseph.

It surprizes me tht more people don't carry a small notepad and pen or pencil with them. I find it incredibly handy to make maps of an area, keep up with chores, and taking notes about various stuff. It's a really good addition to a kit.

Jacket - cool. I like it more now that I know it's a jacket. A vest would have been a cool idea, but look a little ninja I think.

I’m with you on that man . I’m not a vary big vest guy myself, With exception of my LBV :D ,
