It sure looks good, the light stripe of ebony is pleasing to my eye.
Fit is solid.. No blade play or rap, no gaps at the bolster, pins are flush, the spring is flush at halfstop, centered blade.

I'm not keen on how to gauge the number system on pulls and walks/talks yet. So I'll say it's right where I like it. I'm glad it has a deep long pull, satisfying to open to the halfstop. A good snap from half to open, and from half to close its really snappy, like be extra careful when closing snap.

Only two issues that I found so far but one of them isn't really a big deal.

^ One of the pins has been attacked! lol

The other thing is on the cutting edge, one side is grinded higher than the other, particularly at the spear tip.
Looking at the tip I can't help but think of how it resembles my first attempts at freehand sharpening with a lopsided edge!

Overall I am quite pleased with my Beaver Falls Jack. I won't hesitate to get another Cooper offering and looking forward to exploring the brand.

I will say that I hope to have an even grind on the next purchase.
I love that streak!

I've seen several of the Cooper's with red or blue shields. What material is this? Is it painted or dyed bone or some sort of micarta?

I've got a couple of the Cooper Schatts.... They are a super nice knife.... The Winchester, Ohio facility is hitting on all 8 cylinders!
