I am gonna dril a couple holes in the large coffe can and fix a handle for it tomorrow.

I do need to season it, but that might wait til Sat.

Do you have any extra flashing for a lid you can spair?
 
tony, i don't think my flashing is wide enough...its only about 5 inches wide.

perhaps we could use some foil?
 
by the way, i just contacted Andrew and it looks like we'll be getting there saturday morning instead...i assumed we would be getting there friday night, but i spoke out of turn :o
 
Maybe I'll make a run to Lowes tomorrow or steel a pot lid from my wife's pots.
 
Is everyone still planning on going with the snow? I hear predictions of 4-8 inches. Unfortunately, I think its mostly overnight, so too late to build snow shelters.
