New GEC #14 Boys Knife

I was looking around for what the edge wane might mean as well found this and this, not knife related so much as woodworking...maybe nothing to do with the 14 but interesting all the same.

And the dealer site I viewed it on has an image ticker on the front home page (dot 3 of 5)

Got it, thank you. I looked everywhere for it earlier and couldn't find it... these will be nice!

-removed- single and two blade versions in Smooth Ivory Bone available when the time comes.

A favorite cover choice of many... I added you to the list.

edit: removed quantity to reflect edit on original post...

I've been wanting a rotten banana bone knife since 2012, when I began collecting. I've never seen one for sale in all of that time. I'm in for the #14 RBB in both 1 & 2 blades. Really glad to see this cover material come back....a very popular cover.
Got the two blade version with this handle style reserved. I'm excited.

I got the single blade version reserved myself duderubble. I'm pumped about it too. The best part is there right around the corner :D

New to this...how is Charlie's SFO differ from the non-SFO #14 Barlow (aside from the number of blades) in terms of distribution?

Charlie's SFO are a Barlow- they have a longer bolster with the initials TC engraved in it. The remainder have a bolster that is of a standard smaller length.

Thanks Camillus...I was referring to the chart which cbr1000 posted...below Charlie's is another #14 Barlow...same covers but with a second pen blade...I understand that Charlie's has the TC stamp on the bolster and I assume that the non SFO Barlow has the same bolster length but without the stamp. So I am confused why there is a another version of the #14 Barlow when the only one that I am expecting is Charlie's

They are both Charlie's SFO barlow. First box is single blades, second box is two blades.

Oh, I see. GEC fixed this up not long after it was posted- must be an old screen grab.

Yes, your right. I didn't notice that. I will fix it. I thought it would be helpful to post because of the number of variations.

New pics up on GEC website showing cover materials.....the elusive banana bone really exists! My only complaint is there are too many choices for someone on a budget...yikes!

After seeing all the options I had to go with the Yellow Heart Wood flavor, the satin bolsters that accompany this particular profile are just fantastic!

Thank you for reminding us how exclusive and hard to acquire the TC Barlows are. :grumpy::rolleyes:

It'll be interesting to see how the yellow heart ages. I bet it will look pretty darn sweet with time!

Sorry if I've overlooked it but does anyone have an ETA on the non-TC #14s?

Will be interesting to see how the black canvas micarta turns out. I don't recall GEC using black canvas before...usually it's linen micarta.

What do you think these are?
