New Graham- Your Source for Out of Stock Items!

Before I dealt with NGK, I was pretty wary ordering from online knife stores and hadnt ordered from one before. After the first transaction, I realized that they were one of the best out there.

Dont know if its been mentioned in this thread already, but I believe Michael has posted in the past that one of the reasons "out of stock" items are left on the website are as pricing references for customers...

Keep up the good work Michael!

I placed an order with New Graham a couple hours ago because of this thread. Gotta love an outfit that gives you realtime inventory status.

-DD

One more big  for New Graham Knives. Reasonable prices, first rate service, knowledgable staff that are an absolute pleasure to talk with, one of the best selections of Spyderco products anywhere, and an inventory system that lets you know what's out of stock before you place your order. :)

I want to say thanks to jedi boy. Because of his post, I am now a NGK customer for life. You just can't argue with all the glowing reviews of the company Micheal seems to be running. now I am off to check out the website. John

Wow NGK can do no wrong even when someone complains about them. I need to learn how to run a business like that :)

I order almost exclusively through NGK and have had always had great service. If they carried maxpedition products they would have even more of my money!

NGK is a great online dealer in my book. I have done quite a bit of buying from them and had to return an item which was courteously and quickly dealt with.

Sometimes the problem is the manufacturer, not the retailer, on out of stock items. Especially if the items are attractively priced.

For more decades than I care to count, I have been mailordering from catalogs, and now the internet, in a wide variety of fields: guns, knives, dogs, hiking, backpacking, mountaineering, medical equipment, survivalism (ah, the good old 1980s). Each industry has a few companies that set the gold standard of product selection, fair prices, and quality service. For example, in general outdoor supply, L.L. Bean is my gold standard.

In mailorder knives, New Graham Knives my gold standard.

 I'm with you guys, I have bought several knives from NGK and they are with out a doubt one of the best knife store on the net.

All that and the extra (touch of genius:D ) band-aid magnet. Every time my Wife sees it on the frig, she calls me a "knife dork" which I hold in high regard of course. ;)

I do think the "dork" part should be held for the original poster though!

I thought it was pretty amusing that my bandaid holder, complete with bandaids and accompanied by a very nice knife (I guess they throw a free knife in with the purchase of a bandaid holder???) was waiting for me when I got back from having some stitches removed that were from a chance meeting of finger and blade. My wife laughed when I opened the box and pulled the bandaid holder out. I won't repeat what she said. It wasn't very nice, and you know how sensitive us knife folks can be :)

I almost stabbed myself in the leg the other day while playing with a knife oops I mean stocking the knives :) I was trying to flip the knife open and well ahh I might have flipped it a little to hard :D

Any knife that I own that I haven't cut myself with at least once wasn't worth buying, because I clearly am not playing with it enough.

You should see what a falling kukri can do to a shin!

Newgraham is badass. I recently ordered from another company and have been sent the wrong items with no response to my email after several days. Strangely enough, this is one of the retalers the OP recommends over NGK. . . puts the credibility of the OP into perspective, even if his conspicuous absence and lack of any support does not.
