Not sure if it's common to introduce one self here, but its polite and part of my DNA.

That being said, I'm not a knowledgeable collector but rather someone obsessed with 1970s - 80s era knives.

My uncle, who was an avid collector piqued my interest long ago growing up in the 1970s.

I found these forums while doing searches for information on some of the knives I own personally and find it to be an excellent resource for general information.

Welcome. Great information and People. I will recommend that you look into a paid subscription at different levels to take advantage of messaging and avoiding ads, plus if you want to sell anything in the exchange it is a good idea while supporting the forums. I have learned a lot here and met some fine folks.

For $10 you get a year of membership which allows you to post pics from an iPhone directly to the forum. I wish I’d done this first rather than muck around with photo-sharing apps - but that’s just me.

Hi,
New guy here and excited to join. Not new to hobbies and forums but all have mostly been in the car world. Hope to get more info on the knives I’m interested in which has evolved over time. Also hope to not make the new guy mistake and plan to use the search option before asking.
