Moving on... I hope NGK and BM settle this asap. I don't think it's good for business on either side.

Bottom line, they won't ship us product because other dealers have complained about us.

it would be interesting to know what some of those complaints are.

Thanks for the look, Mike

We just received three of the four CRKT Kommer Full Throttle knives. PE nonassisted, PS assisted, and PS non-assisted. Folks, these are smooth knives. Very impressive for under 50 bucks.
Pics ups soon.
Mike

Some dealers where asking MSRP and became p*ssed when NGK didn't joined the club , but gave us an opportunity to buy at a lower pricetag.
IIRC, and correct me if i am wrong, Benchmade decided to stop working with NGK.
They now have to buy their BM's on the "free" market :jerkit:

I ordered, from NGK, the BM Apparation and limited edition 942 in D2 with carbon fiber scales. I'm loyal to NGK and will start purchasing Spyderco and other brands from NGK rather than look elsewhere for BM. I'm done with BM. I love the service I receive from NGK and their competive orientation.

It is very inconvinient to not to see price on the web page. This is huge disadvantage BM create for itself. It is not my position or stand that I do not buy BM anymore or something, but it is uncomfortable for me to browse BM page and do not see price as it is for everybody else.

To get price I need to do unnesesary action like do a phone call or mouse click to add to cart, this is making BM less available. And plus everybody else do not have this limitationa, plus this limitation was just introduced lately and before BM was as available as anything else.

Very strange step from marketing perspective...

I do not know how big their market outside WWW, but they defenetly losing WWW-customers just because it is less available.

The fact that they effectevely boycote NG - one of major player in WWW-market Internationaly is also bad thing and damage their reputation.

I hope they really calculate all upsides and downsides.

Thanks, Vassili.

Few hard to find BM Balis in stock: 41MC, 42MC, 42S, 46, 46MC, 47MC.
As always, a fair price.
Thanks for the look, Mike

Type in model number in the search box: i.e.: 42S

Regards, Mike

We will continue to stock BM... Heck, I would like to see our BM sales double in the next quarter. Really would steam up more than a few folks.

I'm doing my part. I just ordered a Benchmade 960Red from your site this morning.

Hello Mike.
Can you get a Benchmade 530 SBK in 154cm? There would be no hurry.
The 2006 Benchmade catalog says they have switched over to 154cm from 440c.
As usual I will only order Benchmades from Newgraham, so, if the new steel is not available I will order a 440c model from you.
Thanks for all of the great service in the past.

Katsu, I am at home right now...will check our stock in AM...very possible the 154CM has shipped already. Also, I just noticed, our pic is a 530...oops.
Will post what I find out in AM.
Regards, Mike

Mike,

Did anymore ZDP Delicas ever arrive? I'm on the list for one, but I think I'm pretty far down and don't stand much chance.

BTW, I love the Sharpmaker I bought from you the other week (as a supplement to my edge pro). Works great for touch-ups on my S30V Native. I'm definitely getting more and more sold on Spyderco--I think I'm through with BM unless they decide to become more competitive and market-oriented. Same thing happened to SureFire a couple of years ago. I had purchased an A2 Aviator before they pulled most/all of their retailers and raised prices. Never purchased another of their products after that.

Thanks,
RobbW

--Katsu, we only have three of the 530SBK in stock. All are 440C. Sorry.
The change to 154CM is a 'roll-out' meaning the 154CM will not show up on shelves until the 440C sells out.
--Robb, we received six yesterday, but are still trying to fullfill prior commitments. Some distributors are getting into the greed game. One distributor said I could 'buy' 10 of these if I bought 50 BM NRA knives, otherwise I could not have any of the ZDP Delicas. The six I got yesterday, they raised the price to me by 5.00 each (we will continue to honor our agreed price to our customers tho...). Greed, or capitalism....thin line, eh?
If you need any SF...we have a good selection....at fair prices.
BTW, thanks to both of you for your kind words and continued support.
Regards, Mike

I don't think Spyderco will approve such practice, let alone forcing you to buy knives from a competitor manufacturer no less!!!!
