Thanks Mike, you guys (and gal) at NGK are fantastic! That's why I'm more loyal to you than any particular manufacturer, although I feel my Spyderco fanaticism rising.

You're handling the ZDP knife orders exactly the way I would expect from a company I support with my purchasing dollars. If my name makes it up to the top, great! If not, I'll wait for the next tasty Spyderco that comes along. They'll continue to innovate and offer terrific limited runs of cool steels, so I can be patient.

Interesting about the distributor--I bet there's a lot of behind-the-sceens maneuvering that we the buying public never see. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the SF info. I was under the mistaken notion that they were forcing a "bricks and mortar" only retail model with themselves as the only web presence. I'll check out your site.

The change to 154CM is a 'roll-out' meaning the 154CM will not show up on shelves until the 440C sells out.
--Robb, we received six yesterday, but are still trying to fullfill prior commitments. Some distributors are getting into the greed game. One distributor said I could 'buy' 10 of these if I bought 50 BM NRA knives, otherwise I could not have any of the ZDP Delicas. The six I got yesterday, they raised the price to me by 5.00 each (we will continue to honor our agreed price to our customers tho...). Greed, or capitalism....thin line, eh?
If you need any SF...we have a good selection....at fair prices.

Wow, I'd say the green monster was taking over with those zdp delicas. I can't believe a distributor would risk offending a good customer like NGK over a lousy 10 knives. Just goes to show that strange things happen when supply gets far out of whack with demand. That's ok, if nothing else the zdp delica popularity has guaranteed one thing, many more will be made. They may be different colors, etc, but there will be plenty for all eventually.
 
We got in a couple dozen Spyderco Jess Horns with ZDP laminate....they are on the site now.
Also....got the new Spyderco Kitchen knives, both PE and SE in stock today.
(and a few Kopas in Gold MOP)....

Funny you should mention that. My son saw my S30V/G10 Mouse, and wants one of his own. Are you getting any?

BTW Mike, I just wanted to mention that I got an e-mail from Mary Beth last week letting me know that a ZDP Delica had come in for me, I called her with my CC info and she had it in my hand two days later. She is wonderful.
