New Ratweiler pic thread.

You guys are giving me all sorts of previously unfelt feelings as I wait for mine to cross the Pacific!
 
Mine came today, I'll work up a sheath in the next couple of days. Tanker gray and Black/Od G10

Its a hefty blade. Larger in person than I expected and very nicely balanced.
 
Wow that's is nice looking!!!!....I got a 3/16 black finish with the black/orange handles coming!....soon hopefully!!!....:)
 
Been fooling around with the new rat all afternoon, sure chops well. I'll make a leather sheath for it tomorrow for now its just hanging out with some old gear.

Da**!!! I think something I ordered was green/black on tanker. I certainly HOPE it was, because those are NIIIICE!!!

1/4" or 3/16"? I got dinged for my 3/16" back on... Friday I think. Still no shipping notice, though.

BTW, I just noticed your signature, and avatar change. I'm guessing they are related, and if so, I mourn with you and am sorry for your loss. I lost my "Kona" back in Oct. 2013.

Yes, they are related. :( Thank you for that. She went very quickly, and unexpectedly. We're still shocked. Sig is clickable if you want the details. I don't know if I'll ever truly get completely over it. :(
 
Whipped up a quick sheath this morning for mine, its still drying and has the final finish work to do but it gives you an idea.

Finally got my 1/4", and in a colour combo I haven't seen yet, desert sage/tan canvas!
