New run of 48 Weasels, Hawthornes, DJ's, and IT's!

That green dye is exactly the colour of a piece of jade (pounamu). They probably would have sold more if they called it that.

I noticed today that they had the Sambar Stags and they look like they are going as fast as the Blueberrys.

I was able to order one based an early reserve, but no photos yet. Supposed to ship tomorrow?

The place I ordered from had photos of the one I'll be getting and it looks good!

Great!, just got email, I have a short window to pick mine before it ships too. Stag is such a personal preference on traditional knives. Nice to have choices,

Arrived bang on on time-Thank You Barry.

Anyone else have a Blueberry in hand yet?

When I get a sec, I will try to get a few pics up.

Yes. For me particularly. As I live on a remote island off the coast of New Zealand the attention Barry gives to small details such as writing 'Thanks Jon" on the invoice is important and welcome. It gives credence to the concepts of customer loyalty and goodwill.
Cheers.

Got mine today. I REALLY like it. Was going to keep it back in the collection, but might have to carry it. Really neat coloring. Once my stag gets here, Ill post a pic of my 48s. Did notice the Northfield is a bit harder to pinch than the Tidioute because of the swedge. No biggie though!

Cheers Al-
The blueberries look good but I'm still noticing GECs recent penchant for "imaginative "colour naming.:D

This is what I got today. Sorry but the Blueberry came out on the darker side as I took these photos tonight with a flash. I'll try to take a couple more tomorrow in better light. I also took a couple with my Hawthorne that I got last week. Gotta say I'm loving em both! :)

Wow, those blueberrys look so good! I had finally tracked one down, bought it, and the retailer wouldn't sell it to me (I'm outside US). Now I am looking at these great photos and feeling a particular shade of blue, or maybe green.

I have to say that the Blueberry surprised me. It's a lot more beautiful than I thought it would be and the workmanship is top notched.

Looking forward to the Sambar Stag I just ordered!

Great pic of a beauty, Meako!

Here ya go...

Exceptional photo work as always Al. The blue dye in the "blueberry" almost reminds me of my 92 Talon in blue camel bone which is one of my all time favorite dyed GEC colors.

So, the Blueberry was a mis-dye of Green? Came out a fine hybrid even if I'm not that fond of blue on knife handles! Blueberries (and the wild ground covering Bilberries we have here in Europe taste excellent) but they really stain your lips&tongue purple:eek::cool:

The Green ones look really decent though, the bones ones will age impressively if they see some wear&tear and not the collector's shelf only. In a previous run, there was a very attractive Cobblestone Bone, think it was on the 2 blade Jacks. Some stainless Bareheads would set the pulse racing too:thumbup:
