New Run of No. 15s (Beer Scout and Otherwise)

Bought a crown lifter, decided a 15 is a little small for my tastes. But now I'm tempted by the oak barrel. Had this at a bar last month, really good beer.

I didn't expect the beer barrels to go so fast. I'm glad I decided to reserve one.

I think most dealers are still waiting for them to come in, no?

KnivesShipFree only had a few and these were gone fairly quickly. They will get more in a few weeks according to the guy I talked to when ordering by phone. Collector Knives is taking orders. Northwest Knife Company has them listed. The rest of the dealers will probably list them soon.

In an effort to be fair, the factory allocates a few to all dealers on initial shipment. For many, that is enough to fill their order. For those dealers that order a significantly larger quantity, they must wait for production to catch up. They sent initial shipment to most last Wednesday; which arrived on Saturday here. They will probably ship the remainder this Wednesday.

CK had them listed Friday morning, expected release Nov. 30. Before that was preorders till about Thursday I think.

Thanks for the explanation, Mike! We await with all eagerness!

Oh my, that's a nice picture. I hope mine smells like bourbon. If it does, I'm gonna lick it like a lollipop. :D

After looking around, I can see that Chestnut Peach Seed jigging is something that GEC has used in the past.

These photos of the bone make it look better than GECs photos did, but every time I look at that bone I think of dyeing it darker. It would look so good in dark brown.

EDIT and I'm gonna do it! knife inbound.

These were a little darker than the new ones.

I have seen some bone and jigging come out with the same name, but look totally different. Fingers crossed for something awesome!
