I'm looking forward to this run of Beer Scouts, partly because with the exception of the Maroon Micarta, we don't really know what any of them are going to look like. Beer Barrel Oak? Maybe something like Böker's Beer Barrel series, or maybe not (but I bet it'll look good! 
). Golden Ale Jigged Bone? Hopefully a nice rich golden/amber color, maybe lighter than the GEC's Antique Yellow? I think Draft Beer Acrylic is the wild card here; who know what that'll look like! I can't wait to see these!
I think the Boy's Knives will turn out great, too. Probably have to pick one or two of them up (I'm thinking Ebony and jigged bone).
In the meantime, another Beer Scout photo never hurt anyone.

There will be plenty of these Scouts and Beer Scouts to go around, so there is no need to pre-order. Really!
The knife is a great pattern and perfect for daily carry; the sheepfoot is an excellent design and works really well for everything but cleaning your fingernails! Really shines opening clam pack packaging and boxes.

Had one in Cocobolo and sold it and now I miss that little guy. As the op mentioned I'm sure they'll be an abundance of them so a pre-order isn't really a must but there so much fun and makes them that much more special ! 😎

Beer Scouts and Boys Knives in the Beer Scout pattern (ie; sheepsfoot and caplifter but no bail or shield and I believe some different cover options).

I went with the Micarta but it was a difficult choice .

Both of course.
Micarta if you're going to using daily like it was a modern knife. Jigged bone if it's a going to be a special occasions knife.

Yes I really love my cocobolo for a durable user and think I will be keeping the bone to bust out for special occasions

while, you are here, i have a question to ask. If i preorder the 2016 and buy something else, will that something else ship first? Or do I have to wait for the order to be complete? Some places have rules regarding preorders. Thanks!
