NEW SOFTWARE & SERVER UPGRADE: Task List, bug reports, monitor this thread

I link to ALL my fave forums through my UserCP. That link used to be proud on the upper LH menu bar on every post and forum. I'd always hit that to get back to my 'home'. (That's my method.)

That link is now called Settings and it's smaller and buried up in the top RH corner. My 'wish' is to have that in the Home / Forum / Blogs / What's New / Forum Categories / Exchange block.

Is there a way to get the editor to NOT default to a quick reply?
Some versions other boards have a setting we can select in the settings page, but I didn't see it. Don't know if that's something the admin can enable.

I agree with Don here. Other forums that changed to this layout have lost my attention. However this is my favorite of them all so its a bit upsetting. It may have more bells and whistles but is not user friendly IMO.
 
"Mark this forum read" doesn't seem to be working. I click on it and nothing happens -- the dropdown menu doesn't disappear and the forum doesn't get marked read. Tried in TGB&U and in Service & Support.

I used it yesterday in Bernard Levine's forum and it worked.
 
Wait -- I guess it is working, just very slowly (several minutes). I went back to TGB&U and it's finally marked read.

What specific problems are you having so I can fix them?

This is all I get also... but I just have a crappy web-tv. I'm assuming that the web-tv is the problem and that bladeforums is all done for me :mad:
I have to go borrow a friends computer to post this or just to read any post for that matter.

When I check printable version on Thread Tools option, it doesn't show thread address.

First, I should have posted in the other thread, but I couldn't get to it.:o

Problems; I was getting a 'failure to connect page' when I tried to navigate the site and it's very slow to load pages. It's better now though. I also can't stay logged in, 'remember me' doesn't work. I know all this will get worked out and we'll get used to the new format, but I like the old format much better.

I agree, that's the only thin I really miss about the old setup.

Hm. That's by design in this version. I'll see if I can fix that but I'm not sure about it.

It's there, it just didn't download for you. It's a PNG now instead of a gif. What browser are you using?

It will get worked out. What browser are you using? Are you coming to the site through a bookmark on your computer? What is your initial entry page on the site?

Top nav has been restored with a Tab up top (with drop downs). If that doesn't work we can try the old method again.

It's ok, it seems like people with iPads are having problems too.
 
I only mention it since thread address is usually needed when leaving feedback in the Exchange forum.

Call me slow, but why would they need that off the printable version of the thread? Can't they get that from the main version?

Since my first transaction on the Exchange, I was told that was where to find it so I've been getting it there ever since. If there is another location where it can be found, please enlighten me. Maybe I'm the slow one here.

when i click on "whats new" it starts out saying there are only 100 new posts but when you continue the number of posts increases (over 700 total at the end) and there are old locked threads showing up.
 
In the past, I could click on my user name to check out my profile, statistics, ratings and so forth. Now it tries to load, takes forever and then locks up. Additionally, when I first load the BF bookmark, it takes me to the forum link. When I click home it is the same link. Using Internet Explorer. Thanks.......

Which version of IE are you using?

Personal bookmarks have to be edited on your end since they are on your computer.
