I picked up a 118 Pro. The 118 is one of my favorite hunting knives and have been looking for an upgraded steel. Now it will match my 103 Pro for Elk season.

I thought of getting the 119 but I already have a build out 119 with brass and 5160 steel with 75th anniversary stamp. By the time I went back to tempt myself by putting it in the cart, the knife was sold out. Lucky Me : )

I had both the 119 and the 118 Pro in my cart and thought better of it. So I ditched the 119 since I have a 119 with the 5160 steel. So I did get the 118 Pro. Kinda wishing I had gotten the 119 but I'm happy with what I have.

Just saw the email from Buck. It looks like the 110 and 112 slim micarta is already gone. Bummer. I have that topo orange 110 LT. It's great.

I was confused about the 110/112 slims. The website said they were single hand opening knives, but I don’t see any thumb studs or anything on them - just a nail nick.

Ditto. They were on clearance at that place in the mountains a couple/few years ago. I gave a bunch away and kept one. They were well received.

I've had a 118 Personal Pro in my cart three times, so far I have convinced myself that I don't want to have another 'tang stamp' etched. Plus I want to see what the BOTM is for this month.

I didn't buy the 117 Pro when it was BOTM, and I like 117's.

I like 118's and have been avoiding the 118 Pro as I don't need a new rabbit hole of things I'm trying to collect. I mean, hey I'm already missing the 117, so what's the point. Right?
I knew that was going to happen at the time.

I'd have been all over those slim micarta handled knives if they were 5160. Even with the Cerakote.

Bruce, I haven't counted my 118s, but know I have more than enough to last a couple of lifetimes.
This one will be my main hunting blade...thanks to Craig and Leroy.
