New Zombie TV Show ( The Walking Dead )

Unfortunately I've only been able to watch on SD. I have HD but can't find AMC-HD and am not sure if our service provider Rogers even has it available here. The finale ended ok I guess but I can't believe we have to wait til Nov 2011 for season 2.
 
Just like a weekend at my place with friends; they come drink the booze, fight and roll around a bit, try to get with the pretty girls, trash the place, then leave...sheesh, I don't need no stinkin' tv to see all that... ;)

It didn't end horrible, but they could have done more with it in my opinion. I don't wanna wait a whole year to see it again. I will have forgotten how it ended.

Uh oh. That doesn't sound good. What provider do you have? Dreading to find out what's on my DVR when I get home...
 
Anyone know if episode 6 is online anywhere? Every episode so far has shown up on youtube a day or two later (and taken down a day or two later).
 
Hopefully it won't take an entire year to continue. Maybe they will do a season 1.5 like many series have done.
 
I watched the finale last night. Awesome! I think it was only 6 episodes because AMC is testing the ratings. Kinda like a pilot season. I bet next season will be longer. This series is definitely going on my must have list.
 
From what I've read, it is a lot different already from the comic book series. I see that the series comes out on DVD in March.
 
Speaking of the comic books, I came across them in an HMV music store on the weekend and the few I looked through were all black and white. Are they all black and white or are any in color? I find for the price they could have been in color. That and I find the impact of all the gore is lessened without color.
 
I've never seen any color panels in the Walking Dead comics, all b&w with gray shading. I don't think twice about it...it's like watching a good B&W movie...a good movie is a good movie.

And silenthunter, the show is almost nothing like the comic...most of the characters are the same and act the same, but there's about 20% of the comic storyline in the TV show, and even the parts they have are played out a little differently.
