They already did. It was the 0630:

I had one but sold it because I didn't like the blade shape but I've still got 2 ZT 0640 tanto variations that I like better:

Never liked the ZT0640 because thumb studs/discs don't work for me.

BTW, I also had one of those Kershaws (which, as I recall, was much smaller than the 0630) but sold it too.

I'd bet money on that silhouette being a fixed blade: The placement of the jimping, the two open hexagonal fasteners, the size of the choil, the blade:handle ratio, and perhaps most tellingly the fact that if the blade folded it would interact with the rearmost fastener.

I just hate the design. It looks like something made by United Cutlery.

The ZT site clearly says there are TWO new knives coming. The teaser photo seems to only show one. I agree it looks like a fixed blade to me as well.
