New ZT drop on 11/4. Any leakes?

The ZT site clearly says there are TWO new knives coming. The teaser photo seems to only show one. I agree it looks like a fixed blade to me as well.
Of course, but there is only a teaser pic for one of them. There is nothing much to discuss about the other, besides the fact that ZT posted Emerson models on Instagram most recently so it's not a terrible guess that it will be an Emerson collab in some capacity.

But who knows.

Too bad they didnt bring back something discontinued with a new twist like the Mudd or 0200.
This Is just for the sake of discussion. 0200 with the steel liners Is heavy than usual. People generally don't like recurved Blades and 0200 has one. The handle of 0200 Is fat as compared to most ZTs. If KAI brings back 0200, what kind of changes/upgrades do you want? And Price acceptable to you?

^You might be right but id rather see this than the stuff theyve been putting out lately…

I'd like to pick one of these up to try it out.

Just looking at the image, though, I see a few design points I prefer on the ZT. The grind is much higher on the ZT, and given the same blade stock that's going to give it a big advantage on the cutting geometry. The lower grip design on the Emerson also pushes the index finger much further back from the blade edge than the ZT. I might be in the minority on that ergonomic point, but it's one thing that makes or breaks a lot of designs for me. I'm annoyingly picky about it.

I think the only ZT that I don’t own that I really want is the 0470.

Knowing that the brand is going away made me buy one on clearance. It also makes me sad.

I’ve heard a rumor the last two ZTs will be a tactical fixed blade and a beefy folder. We’ ll see.

KAI’s consolidation makes sense though. The recent Kershaw Anniversary Tilt is as nice or nicer than anything ZT has done. Not much point to split the brand.

I love my 0545. I think that’s the best knife ZT has released in many years, but just my opinion. Super skinny, super light, super slicey. Quite the opposite of most of there line.

I think the 0545 is an engineering masterpiece and the 0308 is awesome. ZT can do both ends of the spectrum really well.

All of the sinkeviche (sp) designs are great ZTs, the 452 is my absolute favorite though (I have 3 versions 😂)

New Hinderers are better than ZT Hinderers, but it was a thing when the ZT0392 was better than any Eklipse, lol.

You could also say that the 0550, 0566 and 0560 were better than an XM at the time…for hundreds of dollars less. Currently, a new XM is a much better knife than a ZT05xx, for roughly the same price. If you’re looking to spend big bucks on a ZT0561, you’re much better off sinking that money into a new XM of your choice.

It’s a shame it took us years to get here!

I concur on the Hinderer front, but ZT Emersons are still leading!

I will have to get a pic, but I want to confess it here, my favorite ZT of all of them I ever owned was hands down the oddball ZT 0850. I still have it, and it's absolutely the smoothest knife run on washers I own. It's silly with all the six gun adornments and that backspacer looking like stacked 9mm rounds was goofy....but that beautiful perfectly ground 3.75 inch blade is just a thing of beauty and the handle shape fits my hand perfectly. It's my favorite ZT, and it's the one I'd keep no question if I had to sell my others.

I've always wanted to check one out, but stuff got in the way lol, it certainly seems like one of the most eclectic ZTs. Personally, I would rather have a ZT version of a Farid folder 😁

years ago ZT was my favorite brand, back when they made better Hinderers and Emerson’s than the real thing. Better steel, action, and about half the price of a real Hinderer knife. Plus you didn’t really see Hinderers for sale very often.
Now the real things have better action, similar steel (well, not Emerson’s I guess), and the prices are closer than ever. It makes sense just to spend like $75 more and get the blade shape & finish you want.

It is sad that there is not much of a market for ZTs anymore, but if the new Kershaw Tilt is a sign of things to come, it might not really matter. Hopefully they can more or less “rebrand” some of their best designs as Kershaws, who knows, maybe it will help if they only have to focus on one company instead of two.
I’m going to miss the sprint run 0452s, I think I have them all (USA) except the OG 0454 and the CFM390BLU. They are my favorite knives next to my Eklipses
