New ZT/Hinderer Flipper is Coming!!!0560/0561

Perhaps I should have put a smiley in my post - I am fine with no ETA and can patiently wait. :)

Agree with this....willing to wait!

However, I disagree with the notion of Kershaw/ZT being 'on even ground' with Bunchmade & Spyderhole....

If Kershaw/ZT was not the absolute cream of the crop of that trio ,I would be over on their Forums, buying those other knives....nah; wait a second: I musta forgot where those are made....:jerkit:

I agree totally, Kershaw/ ZT/ Kai will never be on even ground with those other two, instead, I suspect they will always be at least one step ahead !

Heck yeah! I just realized I can download it in hd with realplayer, awesome!

I can't believe that knives this great are being produced for the masses. I don't know about anyone else, but this thread has been a damn-near religious experience. The ZT line is already so far & away ahead of anything in the market. These new models just push ZT into the stratosphere. Thank you Thomas & company for not pricing your stellar knives above the average person's budget.

Wow, Murky Depth has had a PRE (profound religious experience) reading this thread. Was it that last video that put you over the top MD? I really dug that one.

It's a combo of things that make this thread a PRE for me. I've been a fan of Hinderer's custom work for a long time, but for my budget, buying custom knives is very tough for me to justify (I only have 2). When the 1st round of ZT's came out, I got an 0200, and it just changed my whole view of custom vs production knives. As anyone with an 0200 would attest, it's just as good & in many cases better than a custom in terms of build quality, fit/finish, and overall design. Fast-forward to the present... Seeing that Hinderer & ZT are collabing to create what I feel is the new gold standard - and not pricing them out of the ballpark - is just too good to be true.

Thomas -- Potentially annoying question for you. Is G10 sorta hard to come by (or prohibitively expensive) in OD green? I'd imagine that it would be a very popular option with the ZT audience, as much or even more so than coyote brown.

Fixed that for you!

Fixed that for you!

carbon fiber wins everytime, though to be honest i tend to like any handle material that is dangerous to work with.

i know that nobody is even thinking of this knife but i really hope they release the 780 with a pearl/ white micarta

I would give Mr. Dave over at KershawGuy.com a shout
He's a forum member here, and is second to none in customer service

That would be awesome. I really like white micarta. Spyderco's white Jess Horn is a favorite of mine. It's unfortunate, but the 780 is definitely overshadowed by the 560 and 777. It's a great design too.
