This right here...is some of the worst news I've heard in awhile. This is really disappointing for me. If this guy ordered 6/16/11 and is #102 then I'm like #1000 or something. Wow, that's no BS. I really won't see my knife till Christmas. :( This is bad. I have to hold onto that $260 bucks till God knows when. It's not easy when this AK is constantly teasing me. I really don't know what to do.

I ordered the 0560 on 6/16 through gpknives. Who knows when I'll get mine!?!

I suspect there may have been a flurry of orders when the knife first opened for pre-orders and then it tapered off a bit. The number of orders placed in the first 30-60 days may be more than the number of orders placed since then. Of course, that's pure speculation on my part.
 
Yea guys you gotta figure dealers like Kershawguy probably had a mad dash of pre orders that then waned into a steady flow at a much lower number. You guys are stressing thinking each dealer was getting 100 orders a day everyday up until the time you ordered. That's just not the case.
 
Great minds think alike! Or as my wife likes to say, sometimes two half-wits DO make a whole wit. ;) :D
 
You guys just gotta stay glued to as many knife sites as ya can when they are released, including ebay dealers.

Some places like TNK don't take pre-orders, so their batch will be first come first serve.
 
I think I was one of kershawguy's first requestors for the 0560 unless it was another knife I'm thinking about - it must be difficult to manage these lists!

Manage the list,manage the payments,print invoices,print shipping labels,actual shipping on multiple models.

Not to mention constant emails and PMs.

Man Dave really needs to be in the Hall Of Fame.he is just a top notch guy who cares about the community.
 
Off topic for a min: you guys that also have a pre-order for the 777..it's now m390 on the cutting edge instead of n360. Good news for ya! Thank you Kershaw/ZT

No, your right. We started a pre-pre order last Feb and Tiger Stripes and 777 right behind that ;)

I bet ZT is waiting to release knives to kershawguy until the point where they have enough to fill all of his Blade Forum pre-orders.

It could just be me, but it seems like I've been seeing a lot of Hinderer's popping up on the exchange...now that the 560/561 are starting to leek out, I have to think it has something to do with it.
