This isn't the optimal angle but the clip is much tighter to the frame and rounded in back.

Got my 0561. It was worth the wait.
It actually seems to fly open harder for me when using the thumb stud than the flipper
Everyone else has compared it to other ZTs and Hinderers so I'll put my Umnum and small seb in with it for comparison.

I guess I would have to say that I am offended by this post to say the least. Number one I have a store front which qualified me to be a dealer, that is when I became a dealer. I buy product directly from kershaw and from other wholesalers. I deal only in Kershaw product because I believe in the company and I pay my bills to Kershaw in a very timely manner. I had over 500 of these knives ordered from 4 sources and got a handful of each, I worked my butt off for over a year taking names, organizing lists, answering emails and making sure I ordered knives to cover them early. I know I was the first to have orders in at Kershaw and within the first 5 people to order from the other wholesalers as well. Now the other place you mention, do they have a brick and mortar location, I don't see any reference to one on their website, they look like any other webstore to me. Do they order from Kershaw or a Distributor, did the distributor get any knives. Do they pay their invoices quickly, I don't know do you ? I work hard to take care of my customers and to take care of the people that supply my product, do I get preferential treatment, probably not as much as you think. I feel like I earn every penny I make and I am a one man show, I don't have sales people to help with the hundreds of emails per day and orders to ship, I basically work at this seven days a week, many hours a day and love it, until something like this gets posted and makes me feel like I don't deserve to do the business or that I am a second class dealer.

Sounds to me like Leek_Freak is just bitter that he did not get the awesome service that Dave provides. Keep up the amazing work, Dave. :thumbup:

As far as the other mentioned dealer having a storefront...I'm not far from the address listed on the website, and actually looked at it on google streetview last week with intention of going to browse...It doesn't look like there is one.

Not in the least bit Dave your one of the best dealers I've dealt with. Can't wait till I get enough saved up for a 561 I'll be placing another order with you unless you get any more limited run Skylines in stock before then :D.

I don't think Leek Freak was meaning to say it was a negative thing that you got these in first but that it was shocking that KC didn't bother to take the same steps to do so like you did or at lest I hope so.

Dave you are a great dealer, you proved it to me and I will be buying a ZDP composite 0350 as so as I get the funds....... and I don't think Leek Freak meant to stir your hornets nest. I too think its weird KC didn't get any 0560's, just sayin.
 
I totally agree with what other have said. Dave is one of the very best folks I've had the pleasure of dealing with in any line of business (i.e., not just among knife dealers). He is as passionate about Kershaw/ZT as anyone on the planet and works very hard at what he does -- including being on top of things and getting his pre-orders in as quickly as possible with Kershaw and its distributors. To suggest that he doesn't deserve to receive as many of the 0560s as he has or that other dealers should be getting them before him is just plain ridiculous.
 
I have purchased several blades from Dave; he is THE best dealer I have found. His knowledge of the product, customer service, and prices are second to none.

By "KC" I assume you are referring to Knife Center. I have my own theories, but if some of you are wondering why Knife Center has no 0560/0561 listed, why don't you call and ask instead of speculate?
 
If Dave gets any preferential treatment, he deserves every bit of it. All Kershaw collectors on this list owe Dave big time.
 
Let's get back on topic here! If you have dealer business/questions, take them offline or start a new thread.
 
I don't think leek freak was putting Dave down at all, he said he was curious as to why knifecenter hadn't got any yet. I think it's a valid question.
